These amps far exceeded my expectations. I’ve built multiple systems over the years but this amp was perfect for my needs. Great price point and plenty of power. Just added a 3rd one on my boat. Crystal clean amplification, no noise, great filters and adjustments dials. So versatile, so many different ways to configure to fit your needs. Saw a couple of bad reviews complaining of heat generated and find both of mine run relatively cool. I think people who have heat problems are running improper ohm loads over working amp. I’m running three kicker marine 10s, four 8’s, and six 6.5’s off 3 of these. Thing is banging!

I was looking for an amplifier for our Polaris RZR that I could power the 4 mids as well as the subwoofer from so that I did not have to run two amplifiers. Well, this fit the bill perfectly! It's the same physical dimensions of the Kenwood amplifier I was going to use just for the subwoofer and only a little bigger than the MTX amplifier I was already using to power the mids. All I had to do was making a new shelf bracket, drill four holes and then use self tapping screws to mount it. After that, I wired it all up temporarily to make sure I was good, then went back and put connectors on each wire to make sure they were unable to split out since this is in an off-road toy. The bass is awesome for being in an open area (paired with an SSV Works subwoofer enclosure and a Kenwood Excelon 10" subwoofer). I am VERY pleased!

This is a one solid piece of hardware. I replaced an older panasonic in my searay boat that power the 4 rear speakers in the boat and subwoofer. This unit had all the connectors and bells and whistles I required. I left the default settings on most of the controls. It's powering 4 Polk MOMO component speakers and one 12" subwoofer. Once in place it just works. What more can say really.

got as a gift for my dads old school bronco that he barely drives after 1 month the amp is dead and my dad is not one to turn up at all... Sounded good until it died, didnt like the lack of tuning capabilities like im used to on other amps. NO MORE kenwood junk for me or my family.

I had a more expensive marine amp that was malfunctioning so I needed something to get me by for the lake season and purchased this Kenwood. BigDwiz on youtube dyno'd an Excelon series 5ch that is maybe the same as this marine amp with very good results. I even took off back cover and it has the Elna audio grade capacitors like the Excelon on youtube. Long story short this is powering 4 6.5" @2ohms, a pair of Clarion 8.8" @4ohms and my single ported 10"@2ohms and they are rocking loud! Gains are set at half on all channels. I definitely recommend this marine amp.

I don't write many reviews but this one is worth the time. This amp is amazing !I've had many boats and I always upgrade the stereo systems. I installed this amp to push two 6.5" JL Audio , one 10" JL audio sub ,and two JL audio tower speakers. I've installed this same set up three different times using Sony,Carion,and JL Audio amps. This Keneood blows all of them away. Clear , crisp , hard hitting sound !

So I bridged the A and B sides to push a couple of Skar 8in coaxial tower speakers and running an MTX 10in sub (all marine grade).. initial impression was this amp has no issues pushing the setup and system sounded great. Gain set at less then half with 8s set in HP setting and sub setup for what subs are supposed to do...after final adjustments for sound quality, A and B side started to drop off line with sub continuing to play after about 10 mins of play time. Skars are rated at 125watts rms @ 4ohms, so amp should have held that load no problem with long durations of play time. Not sure if I got a defective amp or not...I returned the 1st. I like Kenwood products so ordered the same replacement for another try. More to follow on the 2nd. Return has been seamless so far with return label being provided (waiting refund).

Amazing power in a little unit! Gain and frequency control for front, rear and subwoofer. (In LPF or HPF mode)I'm pushing infinity component speakers and sound great in all pass mode AND HPF modes! My subwoofer is 500w RMS and this amp keeps pushing hard!Very impressed for the quality and price!!! I bought this when it was on a very good sale too. Double win!

I am powering four kicker speakers and one 10” sub in my Jeep TJ. This amp packs power in a compact size! I was able to build a bracket and mount this amp underneath my Jeep TJ steering column with the adjustments facing outwards for a completely hidden install. The input and filter adjustments allowed me to dial in the sound just right. If you are shopping for a Jeep TJ amp I highly recommend this amplifier to power 4 speakers and a sub. Makes it so you can hear your stereo clearly cruising at highway speeds with the top off. I am sure it would be great for any other vehicle as well.

Right item at the perfect price point.

Bought this amp for my Jeep had not installed it. Had an issue with my old truck power amp so I exchanged it out for this one temporarily and wow far better than I had expected it to be.
