TLDR: Ideal support for a side-sleeper. Excellent neck support. Very comfortable head support. Ideal cutouts for mask. Head aligns with spinal column.I'm a side-sleeper (98% of time) and I needed to replace my old Contour CPAPMax pillow after 6+ years. While I liked some of the attributes of the old pillow, there were a few areas that I thought needed improvement. The old pillow had a dual height effect, whereby the back end was about one inch higher. This caused problems when reading in bed. The IKSTAR 2.0 CPAP Pillow addressed that concern and I was delighted. Other areas of the IKSTAR pillow was sheer comfort. I was able to lay my head aligned with my spine (i.e., no raised top of head). My head rested more comfortably. I don't like using cliches, but it was like my head rested on a cloud. Another area that pleased me was the extra support for the neck area. The front edge of the pillow was firmer. This provided ideal support for my neck, which sometimes had a crick in it from the old pillow (even when it was new). Finally, the cutouts for the mask was better than the old pillow allowing proper room for a nasal cushion mask (it would also work for a full-face mask). The "jaw support" area looks too thin, but is actually better than the old pillow, providing just the right support (size and comfort) for my jaw. I will also say that I've laid on my back, and I don't even notice the firmer neck support after a minute or so.

It took a few days to fully expand, and is a little bit shorter than my old one, but was able to put something under it to make it the right height for me. Have only used one night, but seems to work. Excellent price for the pillow. The last one at my chiropractor cost 4 x's as much. I have very broad shoulders, and it's hard to find a side sleeper pillow that works for me.

It helped with support of my head and reduced some pain. Can’t say I found any miracle help by using it, but it has been several months since I got it and I am still using it. I was experiencing pain in my ears while using other pillows. The pressure of the weight of my head on my ears was causing the pain. This pillow has a small hole in it which I had hoped would provide a place for my ear and thus eliminate the pain. The hole was too small to achieve that. After several nights of use I was discouraged with the results. I decided to take the cover off the pillow and with a razor blade I made the hole bigger . I started with a small adjustment in the hole size . Tried the pillow . When it did not get the full results I wanted I used the blade to adjust it more. After a number of adjustments I got some good results. I found using a regular pillow case in place of the one that came with it helped as well. I no longer have the serious pain I had experienced with other pillows. Better sleep. No pillow can solve all causes of sleep problems. However I am glad I bought this pillow.

I came across cervicogenic pillows as an option for increasing pain while sleeping. I used to sleep on my back easily, but broke my tailbone in a fall a couple years ago and had switched to sleeping on my side and stomach. The change in position started to create terrible neck pain that resulted in a few sleepless nights, so I ended up ordering this pillow to see if it would relieve some of the soreness.Oh my god. I guess I was really not sleeping fully for a while. Two nights on it already and I've slept the whole 8 hours each time with almost no movement during the night. My neck feels normal and I have full range of movement (previously, I was starting to have difficulty turning my head quickly or tilting it). It's supportive, but not driving my neck up in all three positions. It stays cool (which feels wonderful) and fits a standard size pillowcase (though it comes with a cover that is soft and washable if needed).If you are experiencing noticeable neck pain after sleeping, it's worth it to give these pillows a try. My main reason for picking IKSTAR was aesthetic, but I'm glad I did. Foam feels high quality and heavy, I do actually like the color palette of the cover, and they don't feel too small for my height (5' 8").Looking forward to the future of sleeping normally.

I replaced my old memory foam contour pillow because it was no longer providing support. I purchased this one based on the reviews. First and foremost this pillow does not smell at all like other foam products. After sleeping on this pillow I can tell you that it provides great support. I wasn’t sure the cutouts for my Cpap mask would work. I was afraid that I would roll off the pillow. The contour on the pillow holds your head, and the cutouts really make a difference. I recommend this pillow.
