SEIKEA Ponytail Extension Claw Clip, PT007 Talia 24" Long Wavy Curly Hair Extension Jaw Clip Ponytail Hairpiece Synthetic Pony Tail (24 Inch, Blonde with Pale Gold Highlights)

I bought this piece for a ren fair costume to add to my very tiny pony with an under cut. It was super comfortable and I didn’t have to adjust it all day. I have very unnatural looking white hair and I tried to match it to the cool platinum colored pony but the ponytail extension actually had far more honey colors in the hair than my unnatural bleached hair. So I wouldn’t say it was a perfect match. But at first glance it looked great! I’m definitely saving it for a future costumes! It’s reasonably thick soft and took braids that I put in it very well. My hair is super short and just barely makes a ponytail. So I was really impressed with how it held. I got to a of compliments on it!

Good from far but for from good. Looked nice for about a week but ask soon as you brush / style it it looks like garbage and full of split ends.

I really liked the length of this hair. It was nice and soft (at first), and it felt real; however, after a few hours of wearing it, I was shocked to see how matted it became. I was walking around the mall and it was not a windy day. I lightly and carefully brushed out the matted tangles and it did not recover well. It would have been nicer if it was a tad bit fuller but that was not a huge issue for me, just a personal preference.I like that it was super easy to use. I did have to wrap a scrunchie around the clip part so that it wasn't noticeably fake. The clip tend to pull away from my hair, making it obvious. I wish the clip was a little longer so that it could grab on to more of my hair, making it more secure.Ultimately, I chose to return and search for a product that better suits my needs/wants.

It's always hard for me (a dark blonde who gets lighter highlights) to color match any hair add-ons, but I got lucky with this one on the first try! Looks great and is easy for me to throw on before leaving the house on a bad hair day. My only complaint is that the claw clip is a black color... although it's enough hair to hide the clip, it'd be a lot easier if the claw clip was a lighter color (more similar to the hair color itself).

Update: I recently bleached my hair and decided to get a blonde pony tail, since I liked the brown so much. I had a couple blondes to pick from, so I took the 2 that seemed to catch my hair color the most, then held up the image of the hair on my phone next to my own hair and decided on the pale ash blonde. I made sure to have a natural light source on my hair to show its brightest true color before deciding. Apparently, I made the right choice, because I couldn't have picked a color to match any better than this. You literally can't tell where my real hair ends and the fake hair begins! Super impressed!Original Review:I have been putting off trying these pony tail clips for SO LONG and finally I just got one (cause it had free returns and I figured, what harm can be done if I try it? I can always send it back). Let me tell you... I was sitting around in my jammies and robe when this thing came in the mail. I just had my hair already in a sloppy bun (picture of the hot mess I am), 'cause I didn't give two cents what I looked like lounging at home on a Sunday doing NOTHING. 🤣 I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW QUICKLY IT CHANGED MY APPEARANCE! I mean, look for yourself!! If it can do this much for my looks when I didn't even properly tie my hair back and do my bangs, imagine if I actually put some effort into it??Synthetic of course means it won't last long... it will start to fray/shed. The more you brush, the faster it will go. I would not try to use heat on this thing. The clip is firm so it takes a little hand/finger muscle to open, but I have fibromyalgia (maybe even dealing with arthritis now or brittle bone - but I hate doctors (lol) so I don't know - I just know my hands ache, my bones snap in my fingers doing simple tasks (like flip a turn signal) and holding things can be bothersome at times) and I was able to open and close it. It can be awkward till you get used to it and does require a bit of strength. Which is a good thing or the weight of the hair would pull this thing right out.I bought the 24 inch in the dark brown for reference.Ignore the weird photo that makes the dark brown pony look like it's multi-colored. It was either the flash or light coming in the window (or combo of both) that caused that to occur - as you can see in all the other pics it's all the same color.Do I recommend? Out of the package and initial impression? Yes! Again, can't say how much use you'll get out of it. I can make my synthetics last years, 'cause I don't wear them everyday and I'm a homebody... but everyday use this thing could be in the trash in a week, or a month, or longer... I can't say. The clip color is bright white and hard to hide. This is my second ponytail with a white clip. Hair lasts roughly a month with weekly use

If you’re like me, you “refurbish” the hair to suit you. I love the hair it looks real but using it as intended didn’t work for me. So I took it off the clip and added comb clips to secure to the top of my head. When I wear it, I cover the top part for obvious reasons, the piece shows. I wear hats and headbands to make it work. I’m not going for glamorous, just every day function. It works for me🙂
