The ankle bracelet is pretty but I am a bit disappointed with the sound. My old bells actually made a gentle ringing sound from each bell with every step. These rely on how close they are to each other to make noise. The sound comes from them clinking against each than from bells actually ringing.As to the size, I wear a size 5 1/2 shoe and these fit my ankle at exactly the right spot without a need for using the extender chain (which would give it as much as another 2 inches).

Very beautiful looking but it hurts a little when you wear it. There are some sharp edges. I loved the look of it. Overall I am happy.
