It's not that I didn't like this knife. I actually wanted a Japanese knife. This one is just made in a Japanese style. So, I returned it and spent and extra $100 or so on a higher tier knife. The knife is nice for a home cook. Someone who really isn't into knives and just wants something a little nicer than the norm.

Very nice knife
I like the weight of these knives. Exstreamly sharp out of the box. Well made and weight is in the blade not the handle. It's not flexible so you have ultimate control. I have the other knife as well and also like.

Great balance, fine blade, beautifully executed chef's knife
