The House of Rothschild: Volume 1: Money's Prophets: 1798-1848

This was the second book that I purchased, out of order I know. I bought three total books on the Rothchild'sHistory get's very muddled, and I believe you will enjoy these books on the family that controlled or does control the world. Hint; I found out through these books how they dictated what countries would get their wars, through subsidizing them.Very interesting to learn about.

Bought for my wife who is fascinated by the Family. She is ploughing through it ......

While I absolutely couldn't stand the trashy "killer apps" that made the West different from the Rest by the same author as he totally missed all the essential reasons for that difference (please watch Stephen Hicks and Thomas Sowell explain the real reason on YouTube on that one) the story of Rothschild family was very interesting.

The research that went into this book is tremendous. He has full access tot he family and all their treasures and history.I really enjoyed reading this family history as it is portrayed by Niall.Niall has written many books on wonderful topics. And I would recommending looking at some of his other writings, especially the book Civilisation.A must read for anyone now looking to study the dynasty.
