I found these really effective. Since using them from mid July (2016) till now they have given us our patio back and have not had any more skunk encounters. Since I tend to leave them on overnight, I have also noticed almost no digging up of our patio plantings by squirrels in the early a.m. Their motion detection is excellent; the combination of ultrasonic and flashing LED's seem to really work. If you don't have a handy place to plug in, I would highly recommend using rechargeable 9 volt lithium ion batteries; which I have not needed to swap out with almost nightly use for over 2 months.

So far this item seems to work as described. I am having a problem with a tom cat in our neighborhood hanging out in our yard. He seems friendly enough, but my male cat is not happy with his visits. Recently I noticed a horrible smell near my back patio door, so I think this cat has started spraying. I bought this for the side of the house to scare him away, along with SSCAT for the front of my patio door as a last defense. I haven't seen or smelled my visitor since I placed these things in my yard . Had a similar issue a few years ago and used a previous model of this system back then. It worked great so I came back for another one.

its a perfect pest repeller it definitely does exactly what it suppose to do . its loud and i loved it. it suppose to come with power cord so i could plug it in but no pwr cord provided and no where on the pest repeller to plug it in to keep charged but it definitely does its job

Very happy with this purchase.I had something eating up my tomatoes(probably a squirrel), after I set this up, for ultrasound and LED flashing, I saw no more tomatoes were being eaten.As I walk around the garden every day I notice this has a pretty good range, about 15 - 20 feet at least, I can't hear any of the ultrasound so I'm just assuming that is working as intended.I'm getting a second one for the other side of the yard, this beats the powder animal repellent by a mile.

I don't like it due to the fact that it seems that its "ultrasonic" feature does not do its jobs to annoy cats or dogs away. My dog just walks around it and doesn't seem to be bothered by it and the cats still keep visiting even if the device is a couple feet away from where they hang out,,

Contrary to the advertising, this product does NOT keep all pests away. It doesn't seem to register the quick dart-and-sit movements of chipmunks, a couple of which now relax on my back yard deck (and about 8 feet in front of one of the two Pestzilla units plugged into my outdoor socket) just about every morning and afternoon. So, while Pestzilla might keep my neighbors' cats and wild deer out of my back yard, the tree and ground squirrels have now found themselves in a predator-free zone, and seem to be having a ball! If you get this product, you should also get yourself a few small and medium rodent cage traps.

While it did nothing to keep the animals out of the garden on the flashing light setting, the alarm was very effective. It's a shame it didn't work longer than 4 days. The battery cover was near impossible to get on and off so I know it is tightly sealed so I have no reason why it stopped working after a 15 minute rainshower. This should be advertised as a disposable unit it it can't hold up longer than 4 days outside. The cheaper units couldn't be worse so save your money.

Bought 3 different varieties of these to try out. This one appears by far the best. Seems to keep the deer off my cucumber plants. Of the other two I bought, one failed with the first rainstorm, the other continues to work but need to be plugged into a wall socket. I'm now going to buy another couple of these.
