Tacet a Mortuis (The Elite Kings Club)

It was a really good finale for Madison and Bishop. It was great to have both of their POV though. I always enjoy that although sometimes you start reading a chapter thinking it is one person only to realise it was the other. It would have been better knowing who was talking.There has been times the behaviour of Madison is annoying. I could understand her being annoyed at Bishop hiding the information about her Mum but then to turn around and do what she did was dumb but then again I think with the sex scenes that are written in these books makes it seem all the characters are older than what they actually are and I guess I have a hard time with the sex scenes because they are with prep school age kids.I wanted to see more of Madison and Daemon spending time together and ask questions about their time apart or something significant but again it never happened. I was disappointed in the last book because for two long lost twins there was nothing substantial between them or given more of an insight into Daemon but it really never came. There was more from Bishop than there was with Madison.This book didn't flow as well for me as the first two. Yes I enjoyed it in the sense of the series has progressed but it just seemed it was jumping all over the show and jumping from one scene to another scene with in a paragraph.I do have to say the constant song and singer references through out these books has started to grate though. Just saying. Since I wouldn't have the faintest idea who these artist are makes reading those bits a waste of time and space. Again a personal preference I guess.Without giving too much away I have to say the big scene at the end was confusing AF. While I was reading it I was like OMG only to read a few paragraphs later that nope everything with everyone was ok. Huh...? I even had to think did I read that right and go back to re-read it to make sure I had.Overall it was still pretty good and I love these characters and do look forward to see where Amo takes us.

Good Lord Amo Jones dropped the mic and no one saw THAT coming. What can I say about an Amo Jones book that hasn't been said already? Tacit a Mortuis was EPIC and straight out phenomenal. Similar to The Silver Swan and The Broken Puppet it followed the same path and was nothing short of magnificent and mindblowingly shocking. This story was dark, sexy and filled to the brim with angst, mystery, sensuality and secrets. Because in typical fashion, this author answered all of my questions but then left me begging for more. Tacit a Mortuis begins immediately after The Broken Puppet and we are immediately brought back into Madison Montgomery's life and see the consequences and aftermath of the revelations at the end of book two. Without giving away ANY spoilers, Madison is now forced to deal with the secrets that were revealed to her which she now has to reconcile with what she thought to be true. Her main question: Is Bishop Hayes her biggest protector or is their relationshop another facade she has to break through in order to get to the truth? GAHHH this book was AMAZING!!!!! What I loved about this story is the fact that the author proved that she definitely doesn't pull her punches and delivered a one two combo that left us flailing. This author's writing style is not only versatile but almost beautifully poetic. The conclusion to this story was outstanding and Madison and Bishop were pure Kindle Crack. Their chemistry was FIRE and their sexytimes were nothing short of electrifying. And that ending was crazy - Good Lord!! This story was filled to the brim with a strong heroine, HOT AF alpha males, a mystery that will rock your world and an epic storyline that took ALL the names. All the secrets, lies and skeletons in the closet we could ever imagine came out and left me wanting more. This is one of my favorite trilogies of all time! Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

This is the third book in the Elite Kings series and this keeps on getting better!! I strongly recommend reading this series in order since these books are not standalones. I am hopelessly hooked on this insanely addictive series and while this chapter of the Elite Kings story answered many of the questions that have been driving me crazy since book one, I now have so many more questions than I ever did before and I freaking LOVE that this author has me twisted in knots waiting for my next fix! Bishop is about as intense as they come and it was definitely nice to be provided with some perspective from his point of view. Nate' s situation just became complicated on a whole new level and I'm personally voting for Tillie. Madison has been through some pretty messed up stuff and she was made for the Elite world. This is an excellent series that keeps getting more complex with every peek behind the wizard's curtain and I'm dying to find out what's going to happen next! I'm so glad that there's going to be quite a few more books in this series since there's so much more that needs to be explained. I highly recommend this entire series to anyone to read and I reviewed this for Reviews from the Heart.

What a ride this series is turning out to be! Honestly i swear it gets more exciting with each book!! I didn't know there were more to come but i'm seriously happy about it!!!We pick up where we left off with Madison having faced another blast from her past.I don't want to really go into details on the story. I don't want to spoil it at all.There are twists and turns at every step. Secrets kept and some now beginning to be shared. Finally Bishop is opening up but he has so many secrets i'm sure Madison will never find them all out.I loved every single second of this book. It kept me gripped and on the edge of my seat. At one point i was wondering if it was going to go the supernatural route!!! Honestly breathtaking. I was holding my breath so much i may now apply to the Guinness book of records to see if i can get the world record for it!!Bishop as usual got me hot and sweaty. He's so mean sometimes but honestly there's just something about that man!! Maybe it's the power i'm not really sure but shuuuggga!!! I so would!! He would be definitely worth anything he throws at you!!Madison is just... wow how she copes with all the stuff thrown at her is just...amazing!! She has a bit of a breakdown here and there but she's coming into her own with each book. She's certainly shaping up to be queen of the Kings Elite!! She has her besties shaping up too Tillie and Tate who have been drawn into the inner circle.I'm loving how as the story is unfolding we're getting more of the other characters too. Nate, Brantley, Jase, Hunter etc we're getting to know them too. Plus extra special bonus we're getting into the heads of the generations before these Kings!! Well not sure it's so good but definitely eye opening and intriguing.I was surprised to have a little tear in here too. Ok maybe it was a bit bigger than little. My heart broke a little towards the end.Yes there is a cliffie so to speak leading to Malum which is book 4!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhh so excited!!!!!You definitely have to read this story in order. It is not a standalone and if you tried then i can guarantee you would be very confused lol!!I can't gush about this series enough. Unique and original it's absolutely captivated me from book 1!!5 The saga continues stars!!

I love how Amo Jones twisted mind works when she writes a book. She's just amazing, and isn't afraid to write things that might be a bit taboo. I love it. I received my arc and dug straight into Tacet a Mortuis I couldn't wait any longer. This book picks up right were The Broken Puppet finished, Madison memories has come back to her and she remembers the b.s. that happened to her and Brantley when they were younger and also finds out not only is Damon is her brother but so is Jase and Hunter.She's angry and hurt that Bishop and Nate has kepted stuff from her and rebels a bit. Which leads to Bishop not liking her actions. But in true Madison and Bishop style they can't let go of each other.Got to admit I hate Khales being back, and also Madison's "mother".I do t spoil anything in this review but this book is just amazing.And that ending argh I can't wait for Nate's book.I have so much love for Amo and I love telling everyone about her books.You don't be disappointed in Tacet a Mortuis it has everything and THAT deleted scene at the end WOW loved it.

Holy hell! That book.... was intense as hell. All bow down to th queen of dark romance Amo Jones! The first two books in the silver swan series were incredible..this was the perfect ending to Maddie and Bishop’s story.I love Bishop, even though I shouldn’t and all of the Elite kings hard. I can’t wait for Nate and Tille’s story.This is an epic read full of twists and turns, mind games, you questioning your sanity and HOT AF chemistry between Maddie and Bishop.This series will mess with your head and most probably leave your y with more questions than answers but I promise you it is. 100% worth every single minute of screaming at your kindle.Malum and Nate’s story can’t come quick enough!

What a story!! I don't feel like it's concluded yet, there is still a lot going on, but im glad that Maddie and Bishop seem to be on the same page finally!This story really does have everything you could possibly want, you have action, suspense, secrets and lies and super hot sex scenes! It's a story about loyalty, family and ultimately love! The Elite Kings is one of those book series that stays with you long after you finish reading. It is quite simply....Amazing!I can't wait to read Nates book next!

OMG I have just finished this work of twisted brilliance and my emotions and thoughts are still all over the place....in a good way though.This is the third instalment in the Elite Kings Clubs Series and if you haven't read the first 2 books then this one will make no sense and you need to give yourself a slap for not reading them before now and fix that mistake straight away. So if you have read the other books then you kow that you shouldn't expect HEA, romance and happiness. That is not the way Amo's brilliantly warped mind works but OMG has she struck serious diamonds with this twisted instalment.These Elite Kings are beyond describable. Up until this point they had all given you reasons to hate them but oh how they have now made you want them in this book. The rules are only their rules and heaven help you if you cross them or break one.Amo has delivered another fantastic tale filled with twists, turns, OMFG thoughts. once you start this masterpiece you will not be able to put it down until you have finished as you will be 100% addicted.I am equally scared and eager for the next instalment in this twisted series
