I love the way this looks and actually does a great job removing boots. However, because there are is no padding the iron will scratch your boots. depending on what kind of boots you’re taking off it may not matter, but this did damage my leather cowboy boots. luckily it isn’t too noticeable and I only made the mistake once on one pair. I was going to send it back but decided not to since it did work so well and looks very cute. What I’ve been doing is throwing a towel between the iron and my boots and it works great.
