Works as advertised, had to fiddle with it a bit, though
The flapper works as advertised. My 35-year-old flapper finally died some time back. It cracked, as ancient rubber tends to do. I ordered this rather inexpensive replacement in hopes of it not working and me then having justification to buy an entire new and fancy toilet.Unfortunately, this flapper worked perfectly and the toilet works wonderful. I had to fiddle with the chain a bit and how it attached to the internal lever to get the spacing right, but such is to be expected with old appliances and new parts.No new throne for me...

It flaps, just as a flapper should.
Life becomes truly meaningful only when you have a Danco Universal Toilet Flapper. The chain is particularly useful, especially if you attach this gizmo to you toilet. If you want to wear it around your neck, I suggest a longer chain.

Toilet flapper works as expected
This device works as expected. You can find the same thing in a good hardware store, but I live in a small community. So my choices are limited. Shopping on line for this item was easy and I got what I expected and needed.

I live in a small town and not having many choices. Actually only one. I ordered this and got it in pretty quick. Should last for years.

Easy to install for this female that is not particularly handy...Stops the leaking and the chain makes it adjustable! Good price and saves a trip to the hardware store.

Waste of money
I didn't figure a toilet flapper could fail to work, but this one did. It leaked worse than the one I was replacing so I had to put the old one back in until I get to a local hardware store to purchase a replacement. That one worked fine and I ended up just throwing this one away.

PLUMBER'S DELIGHT!
When the original in my toilet tank broke, I despaired, as my apartment management takes forever to fix anything! So, I decided to try my hand at a little practical maintenance myself. Works perfect
I was bit hesitant as the price was way less than others, but I was pleasantly surprised at $3.76 this has worked perfectly. It's been several weeks and it's performing its job flawlessly. Highly recommend.

Over Priced Hunk Of Rubber
did not fit 3" American Standardif it were larger it probably would have worked, but its nothing special about a $3.00 hunk of molded rubber & a chain.returned it & bought the fluid master universal 3" that worked perfectly
