Excellent clamps with annoying one flaw
These are my favorite "go-to" clamps when doing narrow glue-ups. They provide tremendous pressure and are way easier to adjust on the fly than c-clamps or even bar clamps. If you need clamps that you can adjust quickly, these are the right choice.HOWEVER...I've discovered that if you try to use them with the handle in a vertical up position, it takes a bit of coordination to get the lower (now upper) jaw to lock - it just slides as you turn the handle. It's not a problem in off-vertical or with handle down position, only with handle up. Seems to me that this would be a problem with anyone's clamp of this design. The solution, of course is to pre-tension the clamp (I usually use a small piece of foam between the jaw and the wood) or flop the pieces being glued on their side temporarily.

These clamps are extremely well thought out.
The jaws on these clamps are perfectly parallel and the grips make them easy to tighten without having to apply a lot of force.

Excellent clamps
These are great, professional quality, heavy-duty clamps. They are well-made, deep throated clamps. They are not cheap, but they'll probably last a lifetime.
