Does the case make a size difference compared to without the case? I want to know if it will fit in the little pocket of my jeans

Hi any issues with airpods case scratching due to taking case in/out? my silicone case seem to have scratched. my airpods case due to dirt inside?

Is this a hard case or silicone?

Replacement “adhesive”? The blue plastic is not sticky, lame if this is supposed to keep the case on. Thanks
