Big Treat for Big Dogs.
This two foot rawhide doggy treat is very cool. I have a big Weimaraner named Abbey. She earned this dog treat in recognition of her exceptional wingman abilities. I've literally lost count of the number of women I've met at Balboa Park and Dog Beach due in large part to Abbey's exceptional skills at interacting with cute girls. She is playful, active, and has a nose for spotting beauties. If your dog has helped you score, then this treat is a very unique gift. But before you add it to your cart, there are a few important considerations I wish to share with you.Any dog will certainly enjoy this rawhide; be that as it may, I think only large dogs will be able to handle it. It's a heavy treat that may prove too difficult for some dogs to comfortably manage. This treat's length carries a potential for minor, but nonetheless unintended and annoying accidents. Rawhide is hard and coarse. If your dog runs around the house with the rawhide in its mouth, it may cause minor wall scratches and/or knock things over. My dog Abbey accidentally used the rawhide to knock over a glass of wine that I was enjoying. My dog claimed it was an accident, but she never apologized for her carelessness. I proved she did it intentionally because she lapped up the spilled wine before I could clean it up.The treat's enormous size means your dog will enjoy it for several days, if not weeks. The chewed parts of the rawhide may become a sloppy mess and no doubt double as a fantasy island for bacteria and other microscopic wonders. Once it was clear to me that my dog would be working on the rawhide for a very long time, I was mindful to keep it clean and reasonably dry after she was through chewing on it for the day.You know your dog better than anyone else. And this is important when considering a rawhide treat this big. Some dogs might find the treat's size cumbersome, difficult, and may simply walk away from it in frustration.Aside from the above--stated considerations, it's a great treat. It's made of high quality hide. My dog chewed on it for about six weeks. According to my dog Abbey, the flavor never lost it's freshness. I could tell she loved this thing. In fact, she was so stoked about it that she posed for a picture with it in this photo.Cheers,Joaquin

A great rawhide product
Bought two of the 24" bones for my heavy chewing dogs. I have a 2 year old italian mastiff (cane corso) and an old chocolate lab. Both of them eat through bones like they are made of cheese.Going on the second day with these bones and they've barely got the knot off of one end! I am knot (heh) discounting the possibility that the shear unwieldiness of these bones might have contributed to a slower chew rate. I think it is probably a combination of a tough rawhide and they aren't as easy to chew. This has not deterred them! They love carrying around these 2' sticks of dried flesh! They work on them all evening while we watch TV and carry them around in between.I'll report back when they are done with them.

My shoes are saved!
I have two mixed Lab puppies that are going through a chewing phase. I had one of these bones from my Pitt Bull mix, who didn't like it, and I decided to give it a try with these two after losing two pairs of shoes. They absolutely loved this bone and even the Pitt Bull mix has decided it might be better than he thought. I've had to purchase a second one already and will probably have to get more than that before the phase is over. With the two of them it lasts about a week, which is great. The bones I got from other pet places lasted a couple of hours. The only damage now is to the cupboards and my shins because they proudly run through the house with it.

Then one day he decided to finally chew on it and decided it was the best chew toy ever
got this for my golden for christmas, he never touched it for 3 months it just sat there. Then one day he decided to finally chew on it and decided it was the best chew toy ever , my other dog and him eventually decided to tag team it and ate it within a week. not sure why the delay they usually love chew toys and rawhides.

It's Pretty Good
I have an agressive chewer she's a 70lb chocolate Lab and many chewies last 30-60minutes for her. I got thins one hoping it would keep her busy for a few hours it did. It didn't last for days but I kept her busy longer than any other chewie we've gotten for her. I'll buy them again just because the ones in the store are from China and this one is from Brazil and I haven't heard anything bad from there. I just wish I could find a bone or chewie that would last longer than a few hours for her. Still for me it's worth the money.

Wonderful!
My pooch loves this bone! He is a 65-lb chewer and will usually go through the small rawhides within a day of getting them. Got him this giant one hoping it would last and it has! Took him about a week of carrying it around with him and sniffing and licking it before he actually started chewing it, but he finally has it down to a tiny nub so I will have to order another one. It has taken him about 4 months to get through it.

Good size, decent durability.
It's a good size and it takes my Siberian Husky a good while to finish it. We give this to her when we have company so that she entertains herself elsewhere. It's as good as any other rawhide we've ever bought.

Doesn't last very long with a very aggressive chewer
I bought this 24" rawhide because several reviewers said their dogs worked on it for a very long time. Unfortunately, this was not the case with my 100 lb. Labrodane. He was pulling off large shreds within 2 minutes, had it broken in half within 10 minutes and chewed one half down to the knot in less than an hour. While I don't think this is a bad quality bone, the rawhide is not as thick as other bones I have purchased, which I am assuming is why he was able to tear it apart so fast.
