Great book for new fans
I really liked the stories about Canucks franchise history. I would recommend it to newer fans who wish to learn more about Canucks.

A book every Canucks Fan should read
There is so much that goes on behind the scenes with this club, it’s was nice reminiscing about the past teams, love how they put this togetherIt starts at the expansion draft and goes all the way to when Kesler was traded. You will not be disappointed with this purchase if your a Nucks fan

missed way too much
These 100 Things sports books are usually pretty good but, even though this one started out pretty good, it got lost in discussing too much of the off-ice GM moves and other odd tangents. Also, this book is about stuff Canucks fans should also do and why would they not mention going to any event at the old Canucks' home, the Pacific Coliseum, which is still in use?Anyway, here's a pretty long list of essential Canucks things fans of the team should know that the authors inconveniently left out:--Superpest Andre Boudrias and how he got his nickname.--Rosaire Paiement getting the hypnotist Reveen to break his scoring slump (no, it did not work).--Murray Hall, Poul Popielm John Schella and Ted Taylor all jumping to the Houston Aeros of the WHA and winning two straight Avco Cups after that.--Harold Snepts' giveaway to Mike Bossy in overtime in Game 1 of the '82 Final.--Dennis Kearns' propensity for scoring in his own net.--Gary Smith's wanderings out of net (not as much as in his Seals' days but still a big thing).--Coach Bill Laforge's Ph.D (Pride, Hustle and Desire) that was as ridiculous as it sounds (ask Darcy Rota).--Jim Robson. Sure we get a breakdown of John Shorthouse's "slay the dragon" call but how about a whole section on Robson as the guy is iconic.--The claim that '91/92 was the first winning season. Pretty sure '74/75's Smythe Division winning 38-32-10 constitutes an over .500 season.--The Franschise--Glen Hanlon.--The streaker in the '70s who got on the ice.--The Black (don't forget the space back then) Hawks' Keith Magnuson with a cast on his arm breaking Chris Oddlefson's jaw.--Babe Pratt! Hello, Babe was on the jerseys in 1989 after he died.--And those crazy uniforms from the Flying V to the alternate salmon.Next time, hire a better historical consultant and enough with the Provies (never heard of them till I read this book and still don't get why they were worthy of a mention vs. maybe the Kurtenblog) and this sneaking in of analytics like "driving play." Wrong book to even attempt that, Drance.
