Terrific kite. Very durable, even in 35+mph winds.
I've used this kite for ~5 months now and really like it.I bought it as a training kite before taking kite boarding lessons. It was really useful for learning how to control a 2-line kite and understanding dives, loops, and launching/landing in different wind conditions.I feel like I saved $100+ on kite-surfing lessons because I already understood the basics going in.I've now flown this kite on beaches in Boston and Ft. Lauderdale in winds nearly strong enough to pull me to my feet from sitting on the sand when I loop the kite. The wind speeds reached 35-40mph at times - but the kite material and strings held up just fine. The lines on this thing are very long - longer than on my kite-surfing kite - so now I use it to test higher-up wind speed and make sure it's not too strong or gusty before I pull out my large kite.I highly recommend this kite to anyone beginning to learn kite-surfing, and want to say a huge thank you to whoever made these.

Not worth your time or money.
I wanted to like these kites. I often see reviews for cheaper versions of things where there's always "that one guy" reviewer who, after me reading tons of positive reviews, reads his review slamming the product with comparisons of a much better but often quite costlier version of the product. This reviewer often appears to be an enthusiast in the field being discussed, and drops a lot of arcane knowledge and phrasing sending you on a Google expedition to find out what he's talking about. If you read reviews for these kites you'll find there is at least one such person who has in fact done just this here. I often don't listen to this type of reviewer because I'm often perfectly fine with getting 80-90% the quality of the more expensive item at 30% the cost. That being said, let me review this kite from a person with beginners level experience with stunt kite flying (meaning, I knew nothing beyond seeing that stunt kites had more than one string). So, without further Ado:The strings for this kite are just awful. They have an unacceptably low tensile strength rating for the pilot (control or lead) strings, which results in any reasonably Gusty winds snapping them and ending your fun.Because the strings are so low quality, they are very thin and are easily agitated by the windy conditions we choose to fly kites in (who would fly a kite in high winds right?) Often when the kite hits the ground or twists on itself, the Parafoil string assembly (for lack of a better term) twists around itself and is either impossible to untangle or requires you spend the next 20 minutes trying to untangle then in the very same windy conditions that were supplying so much fun. If the line snapped in mid-air, god help you.The foil itself is poorly stiched and just doesn't perform well in flight.. they're slow and ungainly and generally don't do much until the wind picks up, at which point your strings snap. (Three kites, 4 times)After ordering 4 kites and trying to see if I could find at least one or two of the bunch with slightly better quality, I gave up and I'm sending them all back.To all you potential customers out there, let me tell you, that at least in this case, "that guy" reviewer who recommended a more expensive kite was absolutely right.I went ahead and ordered a Prism Snapshot 2.5 and the quality is night and day, hands down better. The kite strings are thicker, better knotted and almost never tangle; the kite will often get itself back up in the air unassisted. It pulls and flies at least 60% harder and faster. It's not even fair to compare the two. I spent hours flying the Snapshot until my wrists were sore and my feet hurt from exhilarating battling. If the Snapshot 2.5 is too expensive, at the time of this review there's a 1.2 Snapshot on Amazon for almost the same price as this cheapie kite.Remember to: the bigger the kite, the slower it is and the harder it pulls. I'm a 275 pound man and the Snapshot 2.5 can easily throw me on the ground if I'm not careful. When selecting your kite and comparing this 30 dollar 2.5 meter kite to the slightly more expensive 1.2 meter Snapshot remember this.

Great kite, a blast to fly
Great kite! This is my second dual line kite, and my second Hengda parafoil kite. My first was their $16, 1.4 meter kite. It was a pleasure to fly, and after a few weeks, I decided to see how much more difficult a larger kite would be. The challenges are there are more strings, so they are longer, and launching the kite alone, but I'll get to that in a moment. The kite comes with all the rigging already tied and only the two control lines need to be attached. They are included and can be tied on directly, and the kite is ready to fly. I added a couple of keychain rings so I could more easily connect and disconnect the control lines. I flew it in some gusty conditions today, and this kite has some pull! I was expecting one of the lines to break, but everything held together and I had a blast. I would not recommend this kite for kids. Here is the trick I learned for launching the kite alone. I fly it in a park, where there is no sand to weigh it down. So I use the breeze to pin it to a chain link fence while I extend the flying lines. As soon as I pull out the slack and pull it away from the fence, up she goes! This kite is big and impressive, easy to learn, appears to be durable and is fun to fly. This kite is exactly as advertised. The ad says it will be your "regretless choice", and especially for the price, this is true.

First time flyer and I am hooked.
This is my first kite of this type. I was very impressed at the quality for the price. Took it out at the beach in some heavy wind and used the sand to hold it for launch and it soared straight up. I was surprised by the amount of power that the wind had behind it. It did great. I took it out again today when the wind wasn't as strong and not at all constant and the kite struggled a bit but I don't think it was made for those conditions. I am new to stunt kites and was really impressed at the control. The stock items it came with seem sufficient. Can't wait to fly it again.

Not bad, not great
Cost vs price, this is a decent item. However the pockets aren't uniform, the lines aren't the same length and need retied, this is a light wind kite, not medium in my world. I would guess that 18 mph wind is the max for fun flying, anything more and it shakes and flops in the air.Take the time when you get it to check all the lines length and knots, a liquid seam sealant on the stitching is a cheap insurance. Get some key rings or light climbing rings to attach the flight lines to the kite.
