Great for Dogs, Too
We have an ongoing argument in our household regarding our senior dog. She likes to pee on new beds. I don't like it. The husband continues to purchase new beds. My stance is, no more beds. His stance is, she's his princess and deserves a bed. <sigh>My solution was two-fold. First was to put my foot down about the Type of bed. It Had to be one that has a removable cover because tossing $20 or more out the window doesn't fit with my idea of frugal living. We found one of those on another wonderful pet supply site (you know the one). The bed is a FurHaven orthopedic bed with a removable cover and a foam mattress. No polyfil! It's easy to take the cover off, launder, and replace the cover. Solution 1 done.Next, my friend's senior dog has a leaky bladder and it only releases when the pooch is asleep. On her bed. The solution was a waterproof mattress pad. Her dog is 40+ lbs, our senior is 10 so a large mattress pad wasn't going to work. I found these changing pad covers and thought, let's do it. They work Great. Now the senior can pee to her heart's content and we don't have to toss the bed, just wash the cover. I put the pad between the bedding and the cover of the FurHaven (medium) and it fits just right.Guess what? That little brat hasn't peed on this bed . . .. I just know if I discontinue using it she's going to let loose so it stays. It also works well under water bowls to protect carpet and wood floors. I place the extras under our door mats because she likes to pee on those when we're gone. So, hey, when your babies are grown and no longer needing waterproofing, reuse them for your fur babies, or give them to friends. I'm sure there are Lots of uses for these that go beyond the intention.

Cheap, good value, with a few caveats
PROS: I really like the prints - they're cute, and much better looking than the pictures suggest. These are nice and big, and a pretty good price for three. I got the large size, and I like that you have room for baby to move around without getting diaper contents everywhere. We'll probably be using them for under the pack n play sheet, to protect the mattress from any leaks and blowouts.CONS: I had thought that at least one side would be wipeable. Neither is. We were planning on using them to change the baby on the bed/couch, when that's more convenient than the changing table, but I don't think I want to, because of the texture. Also, the hook that you're supposed to hang this from to air dry (they can't be tumble dried) looks like it will rip off if you hang it up wet (it gets heavier). When I wash these, there's always soap residue on the "waterproof" side of these, even when I rinse 4 times (I've tried!!) and I don't know what to do to get rid of that. I have to wipe these down after they've been washed with a wet washcloth.

Do they meet US safety standards?
I didn't keep these. They really aren't as thick as the picture they show implies, which wasn't a huge issue for me but the reason I'm sending them back is that I can't get an answer if they meet US safety standards. I know the company has registered in the US but I can't find out for the life of me if these meet our standards. I don't really want to have my baby's head on something where I don't know if the dye is toxic, etc. China standards are far different than the US and so I opted to buy something similar from Target. The construction of these seems OK and they are cute, but those two alone aren't good enough.

Perfect size and absorbancy
I used to use disposable pads at 0-3mo, then started using the munchkin ones. My LO peed on one after I removed her diaper, and I somehow expected the munchkin ones to semi-absorb the mess... but NO. It leaked straight through the bottom of the mat and what didn't get soaked, pooled off and around the mat. This was my cue to get a new changing pad or switch back to disposables. I luckily found these and it has been amazing. They're big enough so that my husband doesn't worry about making a mess when changing LO, they're absorbant enough so that it'll hold whatever's on there until you can reach the sink without spilling anything, and they're soft. They wash really well too!I wasn't a fan of the design at first, but now I like it. It's different enough from anything else we have that LO recognizes it! When I lay it out on the floor, LO knows to crawl onto it and get a diaper change. I keep 2 in a changing basket in the living room, and 1 in the bedroom.

Amazing!
these pads work great! I kept these on my seat in my suv the last week of my pregnancy and good thing bc my water broke in my car and didn't get a drop on my new seats! Use these under my baby and work so good for spit up and diaper blow outs saves a lot of time and effort especially in the middle of the night

Great for potty training
These have been a godsend on my laundry routine! Are toddlers currently potty training and nighttime pull ups simply don't have enough absorbency to keep The bed dry every single night. I was so tired of pulling off the complete waterproof mattress cover and washing it every other day in addition to sheets and blankets. I simply lay down the waterproof mat under The fitted sheet and when we have an accident simply pull up the sheet, the pad, and the blanket if it happened to get wet. Since it comes in a pack of three I can easily have two of them in the wash before having to do a load. Since we've been potty training I've washed all three pads at least 10 plus times and while slightly wrinkly, they are still doing a great job of keeping the mattress from getting wet and holding up well in the wash and dry cycle.

Works well for my bunny, and it looks like new after washing
These have been working very well for me and my bunny Zoom-zoom. He's getting old and "leaks" a little while he sleeps. Having to clean the rug under his pen often was getting to be a hassle. Since he tends to sleep in the same corner most of the time, I thought I'd give these changing pads a try. So far so good. I check it when he is up and active, and if it looks soiled I just swap it for a clean one and toss it in the hamper.I wash it as part of my normal load (no special settings), but I don't put it in the dryer (I let it air dry). I've cycled them all through the wash a few times now and they still look like new.
