Great litter, but there are tips to success!
I love this litter, but there are some tricks to making it work well for you and your cat. If you are lazy, don't buy it!1. Transition as stated in the directions. Some cats don't take to it right away, but if you are patient, they will come around.2. This litter does not track much but put a mat in front of the box to reduce that tracking. I keep a hand vac near the box to pick up the few pellets that make it out of the box.3. Cover the bottom of the pan to about 1.5 - 2 inches. It does not take a huge amount to do this right. The pellets are very absorbent. Too much litter in the box = a soggy mess.4. Scoop FREQUENTLY. I scoop at least twice a day. This litter only works if you keep the box scooped.5. If you notice you cat visiting the box, wait about 30 minutes before you scoop to give the pellets time to absorb the urine. If urine is still present on the bottom of the box, use a little more litter. For solid poop, you can scoop only that, (no pellets) and put it in the toilet or a bag. Always add a little more litter after scooping.6. Change the entire contents of the box at least once a week or more often if you have a kitty who urinates a lot. For multiple cat, be sure to have one box per cat + one extra box. If you don't do this, the litter will degrade into dust. If you do it, no dust!* Note that if you follow these guidelines, you won't need to deal with lingering bad smells, and neither will kitty!I buy three of these bags a month and am delighted that I am spending less than $22 per month providing an environmentally friendly, healthy, dustless and cheap litter for my cat.

Best cat litter
I have used clay cat litter for several years and I just switch my cats to Yesterday's News. I love this cat litter. It has no dust and no tracking on the floors like my clay litter did. I also notice that I have way less dust on my furniture using Yesterday's News. Also I have the original unscented and I have no problems with smell. I thought switching my cats over to paper litter from clay litter would be hard but my cats adjusted to it well. I have a 18 year old cat and a new kitten. My 18 year old adjusted to it quicker than I thought she would. I mixed Yesterday's News in with her regular cat litter. I used to begin with, 2/3rds of clay litter and 1/3 of Yesterday's News and just gradually added more Yesterdays News as needed until there was nothing but Yesterday's News in their cat litter box. Now they are completely adjusted to it and knock on wood, they have had no accidents on the floor. It took a good week to get them adjusted. I also like the fact that Yesterday's News is better for the environment. I highly recommend this litter. I will never go back to clay litter.

Rabbit Litter
I know this litter is for a cat, but I use it for my rabbits. After looking and looking for the best litter that reduces smell and it doesn’t seem to affect the rabbits one bit. I’ve done extensive research on rabbit health and what they need for a healthy life. I recommend this to anyone looking for a litter for critters such as rabbits etc.Yesterday’s new’s is composed of compressed paper. Whenever I bought litter meant for rabbits it felt really expensive and it didn’t handle the job as well as it should. There are other alternatives out there such as :- shredded pine or aspen, but after doing some extensive research it seems like it effects their health in a negative way so I avoided this one and if you don’t like smell of cut trees it probably not for you- Compressed wheat is another decent one. I’ve tried this one, but the rabbits eat the compress wheat for litter and when consumed by them I was afraid the litter would expand and they would feel sick.- Rabbit bedding. Its the papery cotton feel like bedding used for essentially a rabbit’s bedding. It is pretty pricey (Its not that expensive, but when your on a tight budget). This works well, but not as good as the yesterday’s newsThe nice thing about this is that the rabbits don’t eat this and it expands and greatly reduces the smell induced in rabbit pee.Overall, this is my experience trying to find a rabbit’s proper litter. I am sure a lot of people have opinions about it, but it worked for me and my rabbits.

A good alternative
I was pleasantly surprised with this kitty litter. The best part is that you no longer have little bits of sandy cat litter all over! There definitely still are some pieces that track out of the box, but not usually too far. If you don’t clean often enough, it smells like hamster or bunny cage, but if you’re consistent with scooping the smell is minimal compared to dusty litter. I’m sad to say we stopped using this because 1. My cats randomly decided they didn’t want to pee in it anymore and 2. We are moving and no longer have a yard we can bury in. Overall I think is a great concept for the environment and works well, but only if you have easy going, non-particular feline friends :)

used to be the best cat litter
I used this at the vet i worked for. Thats what ended up making me buy it. It's safer for kittens because it doesn't have all the dust. The litter just gets bigger, so it makes the best "clumps" for easy clean up. They poop doesn't clump, so you are able to save litter by just scooping the poo out. It doesn't cover scent well, but if you are diligent about cleaning out the litter box then no issues.

A great supplement to litter and wee wee pads!
We use this for our rabbits. Their litter boxes are first lined with wee wee pads, then we put these on top, then hay on top of that. It is a great combination to keep the odor and liquid from becoming too much of a problem.Good price, made from recycled materials and is easy to dispose of make this an overall great product. I'm sure it would work great for other animals as well. You don't need a ton of them either, they are super absorbent, so a handful in a litter box with the wee wee pad is enough for a full week for a rabbit.

Best Litter, Hands Down
Just to give you some specifications: I live in an one bedroom apartment with my partner and our 3 furry friends. We only have space for one litter box, unfortunately (and luckily our cats share it without any issue) and so litter duty is quite important, in our home, otherwise it smells horrible, real quick!I've tried so many litter brands, always looking for clay-litter alternatives. Pretty Litter, BoxieCat, PetSafe and Catit are some of the brand names I've tried.Purina's litter is the big winner for our cats and here's why:While we try to clean the litter every day, sometimes, life gets in the way and it takes 2-3 days before it gets done. The litter box is situated in the bathroom, the smallest space in the apartment and even with 3 cats, on the days that the cleaning has been forgotten, the litter doesn't stink. Unless one of the cats just got their business done, it's usually pretty smell-free.One of the cats is also pretty picky and doesn't like the hardness of wood shavings, yet it hasn't had any problem with this litter, even though it's the original texture (a softer texture exists if needed). The clean up is pretty easy and without a mess. There's a bit of dust but nothing as toxic as clay or even silica gel/crystal.I couldn't recommend this litter enough. It's a life saver when you don't want the whole house smelling like cat urine/excrements.

¡Vuélvanlo a poner disponibleeeee!Es lo mejor que he encontrado...

Less tracking
I like this litter because it doesn’t get tracked around. I was so sick of sweeping up the grit and mess several times a day from other litters. It’s absorbent and keeps the odour down well. The cat seems to enjoy kicking it around in his litter box and once in awhile a pellet or two fly out of the box but no dust and tracking of litter on the floor or furniture. Not as easy to scoop as clumping but I am able to scoop out the wet areas without taking too much of the dry pellets. I’m very happy with this litter.

Decent
Works okay. Wish they would go a little farther. I go through pretty quick. But they don't track too much and they are pretty okay for managing smell. They do take up a lot of garbage space. But again, they don't track as much as so many other kinds of litter that I keep coming back to them.
