I don't often review but felt it was appropriate to this time.I have a utility room sink that is connected to the dishwasher and washing machine and regularly gets dirty walking boots and football boots thrown in so it gets blocked pretty badly with gunk, hair, food and clothing fibres.I had previously used the HG 'One Shot' and because it was so good I was looking to do so again - but found it unavailable on Amazon (possibly discontinued?).I thought that I would try this out but since I had seen some of the bad reviews for this I also bought a couple of others as well as a back up (just in case it was crap).I was also quite apprehensive since on the side of the bottle it says that for persistent blockages, one should use the HG kitchen unblock product. My first thought was 'here we go, excuses already in for not being able to do the job'!Anyway, I used it in accordance with the instructions and initially it did not work in 30 minutes - the sink was still blocked.I added a little more down (by now over half of the 1-litre bottle) and left it for about another hour and a half. When I came back and ran the tap the blockage was clear and the water flowed freely.Although not clear in 30 minutes as advertised (which is the only reason for just 4 stars), to be fair it did work well and totally cleared the blockage.Overall I am pleased with the result and can certainly recommend it if you have a couple of hours to wait.

I had a bathroom sink that was almost completely blocked. I'd tried foaming cleaner, a drain snake and even manually removing the pipes and cleaning out all the gunk. None of it worked so this was the last attempt before seeking professional help.I'm pleased to say, it worked. It claims 5 minutes but I left it for a couple of hours to be sure. Now the sink is flowing freely, better than it did before. Great product and as an added bonus, the sink doesn't smell anymore either.Plenty of other brands and home remedies failed where this succeeded. Compared to the cost of a professional, this represents excellent value, especially considering how little effort was involved in it's use. Very easy to use; dump it in the drain, leave it for a while, come back, rinse away, done. No mess, no fuss.Only one star awarded for scent as it has no odour. Everything else gets five stars. Can't recommend this enough.
