Loved this suit at first, but faded SO much after 2 days in the pool. It looks so old now it’s not even cute. You can see from the picture, it was bright pink like the headband just 2 days ago :( I’d give it 0 stars if that was an option. Very disappointed for the price we paid

We have been buying RuffleButts swim suits for many years. They are cute and the long sleeves have saved my girl from so many sunburns. We determine the size to buy based on the size shirt she mainly wears. She is 5 but mainly wears size 6 shirts (but still fits in some 5s) so we bought a size 6 swimsuit and it fits perfectly. Our Gulf Coast sand can collect in the bottoms but comes out in the wash. Our last one did fade some over time but it was used a lot in the pool and at the beach over 2 summers being thrown in the washing machine multiple times a week and quite a few times in the dryer. We are so happy with the performance, we bought 2 different colors this year and purchased some for our niece. Be sure to put a little sunscreen around their waistline in case it pulls up while playing in the sand and also put some on the tops of their hands.

Darling! Runs small, as usual. My 21 lbs 13 month old needed the 18-24 size.

I am very disappointed in the swimsuit quality and material! I decided to spend a little more money and bought two sets of these swimsuits for my girls because the pictures looked great and the style is really cute. When I received them, they looked great on. But they didn’t even last two weeks of outdoor swimming. Not only did the color start to fade- the material became very very loose and saggy, to the point that it became sheer! The arms and torso became so long that my kids couldn’t wear them anymore. So much for sun protection! I have never had this kind of experience with a swimsuit before, so I had to write this review. If you’re planning to have your kids wear them outside for actual swimming- don’t bother. This swimsuit won’t last and it’s a total waste of money. I had to go buy replacement swimsuits at Target which were far better in quality!

My daughter just turned 2 years old. For reference: She’s about 30 lb and 35” tall and wearing mostly 3T in Carter’s. She is wearing 4T pajamas from Burts Bees. She could still fit in 24mos pants and 2T but some are a bit short in leg and sleeve length. Anyway, I got the 4T thinking it would be a little large on her but not too big because she’s easily wearing 3T but it’s actually much larger than I thought. I probably should have gotten her a 3T.That being said, I’m glad I got the 4T because they are expensive and I’m hoping she’ll be able to wear it for longer. I just rolled the sleeve cuff up and it stayed in place. Honestly, it’s almost nicer that it’s large because we all know how difficult it is to take a wet bathing suit off a toddler! The important thing is really the sun protection - so I would recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their baby safe.

I wanted to contact the seller rather than post the review but I can find that option. I love this brand and it’s worked out in the past but this time it faded very badly in a very short time. I wouldn’t usually mind but it’s an expensive swimsuit for a toddler. I’m sad bec it’s very cute otherwise.

This fits my toddler perfectly. We go swimming almost everyday and it hasn't shrunk in the wash yet. I only wash it in the machine and let it air dry so that might be a contributing factor. We are hoping to get several months use out of this suit since you never know how fast a baby will grow. We ordered the 2T size when my daughter was 18 months old based off the size chart which fits weights 24-29lbs. She's 20 months old now and it still fits great! We don't have any trouble getting it off her when it's wet which some other suits make very difficult. It isn't too long in the arms and the bottoms aren't tight around her waist or legs. It is also a super cute design. We get lots of compliments on her suit when we are at pool parties and the like. Will order another Ruffle Butts suit when she out grows this one!

I cannot recommend this swimsuit enough! The material is GREAT! It's easy to get on/off, even when wet! It "stretches" so it stays close to the skin offering great sun protection of 50+ and is still doesn't "cling" to the skin making it difficult to remove. the top is long enough to fully cover the stomach even when splashing and running around in a splash pad or at a water table vs. just in the pool. The bottoms also come up a bit higher ensuring full coverage from the sun. The back of the bottom piece is wide enough fabric so your little one isn't pulling at their suit or showing off their little bums! My daughter was so excited to get her suit in the mail that she wanted to put it on right then and there over her jammies!
