I am happy with my Diver headset
I only have experience with this model of bone conduction headsets, and cannot can't speak on how it compares to any other brands, and I do not think it is fair to hold these to the same sound standards of normal earphones. That being said, I am happy with my Diver headset. I purchased the headset to primarily use while running and cycling. I appreciate the added confidence of hearing my surroundings. For what Diver advertises, these headsets deliver. They work great for me, but don't expect these to replace your preferred earphones. The sound quality isn't comparable, but I don't think it can be or should be. This is not a shortcoming on Diver's part, but it is like comparing apples to oranges. However, the music is clear, it is loud enough to hear over the rushing wind while cycling, and has even allowed me to have conversations on the phone while running (no bouncing microphone like the cords or earphones). My expectations were met, but I am giving four stars because I think the ability to adjust the size of the band would be extremely beneficial.

Great product for it's price.
The good and the bad:The Good: Obviously, it doesn't sit in the ears, so that allows for being able to hear the world around you when you're running, working, etc. The band fits comfortably around my giant noggin, and I can listen to Slayer as loud as I want and still be able to hear my boss yell at me because I'm being too metal. Bluetooth connection is simple enough, and it's interface setup is fairly simple- my dumb self managed to figure it out after a few minutes so that's a plus. The Bad: Essentially two mini speakers with a pad over them, so people around you can hear your music as well. Also, at loud volumes, you feel the reverberation in your temples from your tunes. The other bad part, is it's a very basic sound quality, and won't let you alter your audio customization from your device- so no equalizer, bass boost, treble boost, etc.Other than all that, a fairly decent product for the price- and see no reason to give it lower than 5 stars- it dies what it's supposed to, and it's water/sweat proof, and all for less than $50. But, don't take my word for it, try it yourself- especially now that your new iPhone won't have a headset jack!

I tested the headset out in the shower listening to music and was delighted with the novelty
I ordered this item for work. I am more and more frequently on conference calls and my colleagues had said that my motorokr 305s sounded muffled. To be honest I didn't really care that it was waterproof, I was more interested in call quality and the bone conduction.I tested the headset out in the shower listening to music and was delighted with the novelty. The next day I tested the set out by using it for a 90 minute class I delivered over Skype. I checked with some of the attendees afterwards and they noticed the improvement in sound quality.I bike to work and was very pleased that the headset allowed me to listen to music without interfering with my ability to hear traffic.I've tried it in pools and it simply works. Battery life is great. There is a little more bass than I like. I'm not sure if this is the headset, or the nature of bone conduction. This headset is a great buy.

An almost really great product. Flawed, but adequate depending on your needs.
I ride my bike a lot and usually use earbuds, which block out ambient noise (very dangerous/illegal? on a bike). These seemed to be the answer.....but I am not sure they are. I am sold on the technology, but I think it has a little ways to go before its perfected. I will continue this review with a split between possible purposes for these headphones.Podcasts/audiobooks: This is pretty much all that I use my headphones for. And with that said, they do a pretty good job. Most of my commute is on back roads and bike trails where road noise is really not an issue. In this context, these headphones did a pretty good job. I would recommend these to anyone who thinks they would use them away from noisy environments. However, in the moments that I found myself near fast road traffic or travelling at high speeds with wind noise in my ears, I could hear very little, if at all. I would have to hit the back button every time I got back to a quiet spot so as not to miss things. They do fit pretty well with my helmet and sunglasses, which was something I was really worried about. A bonus was that the bike riding position (lean forward, head tilted back) cause the speakers to shift and be held in a position that really amplifies the sound well.Music: In the past, I have been a bit of an audiophile. I purchased a set of around hear Bose head phones years ago and that pretty much shattered my previous expectations about sound quality. With that in mind, these headphones really don't do a great job of transmitting the fullness of the music. The sound is shallow and even with the volume maxed out, its hard to get sound to a level that you would want for basic music enjoyment.General tid bits: Sometimes the vibration of the speakers would tickle my inner ear creating a strange desire to shiver. It was a little bit annoying, but wasn't really a big deal. Something I would be willing to tolerate. While riding, I had some horrible signal distruption issues, where the sound would cut out every time I was pedaling. Upon switching my phone from my right pocket to my left, this reduced dramatically. This isn't a good product if you are looking for privacy. The sound transmits fairly loudly into the environment. Not an issue really while on a bike, but would be if you were in a quiet room. My wife made fun of me when I wore them. They look like a star trek accessory. With that said though, more people were intrigued by odd looking device than critical. They have drawn a lot of attention and a lot of people want a pair.
