Q: How big of a dog can fit this?

My dog is a 34lb goldendoodle and she has to curl up to fit and if sitting up - it is ok but she wants to rest her head on edge and doesn’t seem too comfortable with it.

Q: Can I buy a cushion to fit?

Yes, there is plenty of room with the ends in the upright position, especially if it is a smaller dog.

Q: Can I put this in the washing machine? And dryer?

Probably, but I don’t think it would hold up very well. I put a towel in it when my dog used it. If she had an accident, I would probably hose it down and let it dry in the sun.

Q: Does this have a tether to connect to the dogs harness?

Yes, it comes with a tether that you connect to the dog’s collar or harness. But where this tether connects to us the problem. It is supposed to be clicked into the seatbelt receptacle, which puts the tether point in a weird spot. For my dog, that lasted about 5 minutes. This product (the box overall) might work fine for small dogs... I used it when my large breed was a little puppy, but now at about 12 weeks old he’s outgrown it.
