Mega Construx Kubros Star Trek Spock Building Kit

If you are a fan of Star Trek TOS or know someone who is, this is a fun little collectible, with a lot of assembly required. It will take you a bit of time and some fussing to assemble Spock since he arrives as several bags of pieces inside the distinctive Kubros box. It comes with a set of instructions that will walk you through it step by step. It's all picture based.Find an area with enough space to set out all the pieces, sort them so that identical pieces are all grouped together, make sure you have got enough light, and go ahead. I have a lot of experience assembling model kits and Legos, so this wasn't all that hard for me. If you've never done this before, be generous with the time you allow yourself. The pieces all snap together without glue so if you make a mistake it's no problem to back up and try again. Just make sure the pieces in the pictures match up with the ones you are trying to put together and good luck! The box suggests age 10 for a minimum and considering how small the pieces are, that's reasonable.Assembly starts by putting the head together, the most complex assembly, followed by the torso, the legs, and the arms. The assemblies all snap together. The arms and the head pivot, so there's some limited posability. The tri-corder, the Star Fleet insignia - there's some nice little details here. I had a few extra pieces left over, but they were obviously not needed. The instructions include a list of all the pieces you need and how many you get, so you can check if you have a problem.All in all, an amusing tribute to one of the most iconic figures from Star Trek. I'm including a picture that will give some idea of how big the assembled figure comes out.

This is my first Mega Construx toy and it is so much fun to build. It's pretty much Legos with instructions. It gives you a feeling of achievement and can be completed in less than an hour. After you're done, you get this cool toy display of a celebrity character. I bought this because I have a few coworkers that are Star Trek fans and so I want to display this on my desk for their envy. The set I got was missing a black block that completes the top middle of Spock's hair but a replacement was sent to me within a week after one message to customer service.

I got this toy for my wife because she loves Lego. She told me it was the same kind of quality, but that the mouth was a pain to keep from coming apart as she built it. It would be better with a clear piece where the mouth is. She was happy to add it to her shelf to show it off, I recommend it to any Star Trek fan!

A bit difficult to assemble. Instructions were a tad confusing. Final product looks ok. Nice addition to collection.

I just finished building my Mega Bloks Kubros buildable figure, and had fun doing so. The finished product is great. There were no missing or broken pieces, and the instructions were generally clear and easy-to-follow. I'm planning on buying all the Mega Bloks Star Trek sets, including the Star Trek Kubros figures and this has been a great start to that collection!

My husband is a big kids at heart, and loves Star Trek. Now he has Spock, Worf, and Picard! Only wish there were more Trek characters!

This look awesome, but the size of the head makes it impossible to get his hand 🖖 up properly.

Love it! Has a place of honor over my desk. I had seven extra pieces left over and looking at the parts list, they are just spares. It went together easily and looks fabulous!

Recipient seemed happy with the gift at Christmas time. Said it was awesome, a big Star Trek fan anyway. But the recipient loves to create models and make things when they are feeling low. They said it was a great help.

This was a birthday gift, they loved it and have now started looking at this brand of building bricks instead of the more well know brands. Can tell it is a cheaper version but you get what you pay for and this is pretty good. Would recommend.
