I have a metal shelf with wire rungs. I wanted to use this product to line the shelf so I could put anything I wanted on it easily. I decided to buy this, and trim it to fit three places around my home where I have cat food, treats and water bowls (the laundry room, the kitchen, and the bathroom---yes, the bathroom, where my cat likes to drink his water). They're transparent just enough to 'disappear' over the colorful linoleum I have in each location, and they are easy to wipe clean, plus, they're 'tacky' enough (not sticky but rubbery enough on the surface) to grip the bottoms of the bowls so they don't slide around. Purrrrfect!

I brought this for my granddaughter so she could play with her slime. It is a good size and thickness is ok,on the thin side but to me it is good so it adheres well to the surface so it doesn’t move around.

We cut this and used it on my vintage look glass top coffee table to absorb some shock and keep from cracking the glass with glass items. :). I own several of these of all sizes though and use primarily for my resin art and resin sculpture too!

Covers the counter in a rental apartment that has cheap veneer covering the counter. To avoid staining and water damage this silicone mat will do. It's not as transparent as another one I have but it still works.
