Living WorldPedi-Perch - Medium (Color may vary)

My perch arrived light blue (Amazon stated colors may vary). Some reviews mentioned that the Medium perch is thicker than they expected, but I think based on that I found mine slightly thinner than expected. I believe the Medium is fine for a smaller African Grey-sized parrot or a Pionus, but think I would have preferred slightly more diameter.I had a similar stone perch for one of my late birds that did not have the ripple effect. I usually place perches like this up high in the cage as they tend to sleep on them. I found my birds nails were kept tollerable naturally and did not require clipping though it all depends on the bird's personal use.I had no problem with the supplied washers or wing nut. Fit myh 3/4" cage perfectly. I can see an issue with 1"+ spaced bars which may require extra washers purchased.Still waiting for my baby to be weaned and come home, but as a product, this is a great, solid, and well-designed perch.

I have a 20 year old cockatiel who is unable to handle the stress of a regular nail trim. These perches were recommended by my vet and my local bird store. I purchased a small and medium and put them in his nightly roosting spot and by his food dish. He adjusted to the perch right away, no introducing needed, but he doesn't get scared easily by new items, your bird may be different.After almost a month, his nails have been filed down considerably. I think him sleeping on the perch is the biggest contributor since they probably flex their feet when they sleep. I think the small size is probably a bit better fit than the medium for him. The medium is a bit bigger in diameter, not by much, but enough that I think the small might be more comfortable. The smooth area is very large so that his sensitive feet are not bothered by the grit and only his nails touch that part.The one con that I can see is that it seems to be affected by room temperature, so it feels cold to the touch at night. My bird doesn't seem bothered by it and still chooses this perch to roost, but just something to keep in mind.All-in-all this is a great perch, just keep in mind that it will take about a month to see results and the perch is best placed where your bird spends the most time, especially at night.

Great perches made out of concrete. Easy to attach and stays on tight. Be warned though, the washers might be a bit small if you own a very large parrot cage or something but they worked just fine on the cage I house cockatiels in. I don't know if the larger perch sizes come with bigger washers or what but it's worth inquiring about.

My bird loves this perch. It is a very sturdy perch that is the perfect size for a medium sized bird. It is easy to attach to the cage, the only thing is that I feel like it might be too heavy for the metal pieces that connect it to the cage because it kind of tilts down and doesn't stick out straight no matter how tight I try to twist the back metal piece on it. Overall it works just fine and my bird is satisfied with it which is what really matters.

Living World Pedi-Perches are superb concrete perches, and I highly recommend them—as does my 25-year-old African Grey parrot (Homer).These perches definitely help to keep his claws nicely trimmed and from becoming too sharp. Very nice perch! My Brown-headed parrot is happy. It's a little larger than his old perch and I think he will enjoy it for years to come!

J'en avais un auparavant jusqu'à ce qu'il devienne tellement usé que j'ai dû le remplacer. Il a fallu un certain temps pour trouver un remplaçant approprié et pendant ce temps, les griffes de mon perroquet ont tellement poussé qu'un jour, il s'est pris le pied sur les barreaux de la cage. N'ayant jamais eu à se couper les griffes auparavant, je n'avais pas réalisé à quel point elles étaient devenues longues, et il n'était pas content de se faire couper les griffes !J'étais si heureux de trouver ce type de perche disponible sur Amazon. Il y a beaucoup de perchoirs en bois recouverts de papier de verre, mais il les déchiquette en un rien de temps. had a few others and they seem to pull through on the back nut, this seems to be very well made.The flat, smooth top being better on the feet and the grip/rough edge where the nails actually sit, the only downside is the very limited width options, we have a large grey, the medium being to thin and his toes just hanging off the edge and the large being way to big but thats life i suppose.All around a good perch for the money.

I’ve previously bought a pedicure perch from a pet superstore and it’s no where near as good quality as this one. Specifically the screw apparatus, it’s wide enough for larger cage (wider spaced bars), and it’s nice and sturdy. Very well packaged, came to me in immaculate condition. The Medium is the perfect length and thickness for my large Alexandrine parrot. Highly recommend!
