Don't believe the hype!
Really disappointed with this brush. If you want a tangle teezer, fine, but as a brush for blow drying it's useless! Despite the "bristles" being very sharp, it doesn't grip the hair at all during drying! I have long hair which I section to dry and even with the smallest section it just kind of slides off! You're better off going to a well known UK 'drug' store and buying an own brand vent brush for half the price!

It’s very jaggy on the scalp.
As a few others have said in reviews, it’s very hard on the head. The bristles are so sharp it actually hurts to use. My other tangle tweezer is nothing like this one. I can see this one being good for people with thick or very curly hair but for my fine hair it’s like razor blades. It’s a no from me.

Happy
I have very fine long hair that knots easily. I usually use a tangle teaser for wet hair, but was finding it didn't work well when blowdrying and was worried about it melting. This ventilated one helps move the heat around so feel like I'm doing less damage to both my hair and wet-hair-tangle-teaser. The wet hair one will stay my everyday hairbrush. I think some of the negative reviews are missing the point that this hair brush is designed for blow drying and heat rather than brushing knots out. It wouldn't be good for that no - you'd want one of the original or wethair tangle teasers. If you want something to help blow-dry your hair, this is the one :)

Actually CAUSED knots
Totally unsuitable for my very fine hair. Just lost a clump due to the knot this just caused. Definitely the brush as I never have problems otherwise. Also very hard pointed bristles mean you need to avoid going near the scalp as this could cause nasty scratches. Usually love this brand but this is an awful cheap bit of plastic. Avoid at all costs if you have thin, fine or delicate hair.

Good on my short hair
It's a good brush overall and works well on my thick, short hair. Feels a bit like a smaller, venter paddle brush. I can't say it particularly grips the hair. I have an undercut and the bristles are a bit sharp on my scalp generally and mostly where my hair is short. So I just need to be gently using it.
