Hotel Grand Oversized 500 Thread Count Damask Stripe White Down Comforter- Full/Queen.

I bought this to replace an old one that I bought probably at least 10 yrs. ago from Aldi's. We heat with wood, and ran low a couple of times this last winter. Hoped this would help...It's THIN. I could hold it up to the light and see right through it in places. Not enough down in it, and way too light to do the job. In Illinois this last year, it was bitterly cold. I was hoping this comforter would help. It's summer and it's still on my bed. I kept the older one as it is much heavier. Not worth the money to me. Would have bought a couple more if the down was there.
