Mermaid Theme Cake Fondant Mold - Mermaid Tail Seahorse Seashell Starfish Mold for Cake Decoration, Chocolate, Candy, Cupcake Decor

exactly what i needed for a very beautiful 3 year olds birthday cake 💕 i used normal white chocolate and some edible shimmers! melted the chocolate popped it in the molds then froze it for a few minutes and popped them right out! the sea horses were a little tricky with the tails but after a try or two well worth it!

The media could not be loaded.  These molds are very easy to use and they all came out beautifully! The tails on all of the seahorses broke when removing, but they were easily reattached with some extra candy melts and you could not even tell it happened.

I used fondant to make toppers for mini cupcakes. Some of the molds were easy to use and fast to do like the rounder seashells. The seahorses, seaweed and starfish took a lot of time. You have to put a little bit of fondant in the molds at a time and spread it into the tiny creases since the molds are small and shallow if you want that clean look (and use a lot of cornstarch so it doesn’t stick to your hands; I didn’t have any issue with it sticking to the mold- only my fingers). It’s a bit time consuming but the end result is beautiful. The molds are easy to wash and the quality seems good, especially for the price. The only thing that surprised me is how small the molds are- note that I could fit 3 items on each mini cupcake. But it worked well for the purpose and I do recommend this item 😊

Made a cake for my niece's 4 year old, mermaid birthday party, and these were perfect! Two of the silicone molds were so detailed... it really made the shells stand out. The seahorses were the most difficult to unmold and I could not get them to come out in one piece... but all of the other pieces unmolded easily. I used melting chocolate to pour into the molds and then painted them with luster dust. Looking forward to using them again for another baking project!

My sister is very artistic and works with resin to create original artwork however her pieces were all on a larger scale. She has been diagnosed with some health conditions which impact her mobility, these conditions are not linked to her use of resin, so I wanted to offer her some smaller scale options for those times when sitting is required and these are perfect. She loves them! Thank you! The make perfect embellishments in her larger pieces and are quite easy to use!

Used with candy melts to make decorations for a cake. My daughter loved the cake and her friends loved the cake decorations!

These made very cute decorations for my daughters mermaid birthday cake, however a lot of them broke as I was trying to remove the small pieces. Even the bigger mermaid tail broke a few times as I was removing the chocolate. The seahorses tail broke every time I removed it from the mold. It was fine because I just shoved it down into the frosting, but it was frustrating that I had to make so many to get a few that were intact.
