I’m 5’3” and about 130 pounds. I am pear shaped and heavier on my bottom half - especially my thighs and butt. I ordered a medium and they fit great. The length is just a touch longer than regular running shorts, and very flattering on me. My husband keeps on commenting on how much he likes them. The first time I wore these shorts, I ran about 4 miles with no issues though one side of the built in underwear didn’t stay put as much as I would like, but it was generally fine. HOWEVER, I ran 6 miles in the shorts, and had some issues. It was hot, and my thighs do rub together, but these shorts were long enough to protect where my thighs rub, so I didn’t think I’d have issues. I developed a rash on each thigh where the shorts rubbed my thighs that actually turned into minor scabs. I will wear the shorts again but not without some hesitation and definitely not for a long run.

They fit fabulously even after 2 kids…..and I wore these til I was 6/7 months pregnant so they have stretch for sure.

I bought these in size large for my daughter who is 5'5" and weighs 162 pounds (Size 10 -12). One look and I knew that it wasn't going to fit her. So my youngest daughter who weighs about 120 pounds and is about 5'3" tried them on and they fit perfect. She wears a woman's size 2 in jeans. If I reorder for my bigger daughter I think I'd try an xxl. I hope this helps.UPDATE: I ordered an xxl and they were huge so I ordered an xl and still too big so I re-ordered a large and they fit perfectly. Apparently I was sent a junior's large the first time. So unless you have the same misfortune as me, a size 12 would order a large. And disregard everything else.

I ordered an XL in the navy color - I am 5'6, 180 and muscular. I do carry my weight in my hips mostly and these fit very loose. I very well could have ordered a large and been very comfortable. When I order my next pair, I will be sizing down. These are okay if I tie them as tight as I can get them. But when I do, this gives them a bubbled effect in the waist and they do look weird. I have to fold them over to combat this.

Hey ladies, these are great running shorts for the summer. I purchased 3 spontaneously and would not hesitate to purchase more since I run everyday. Sizes run slightly small and has no pockets but, very comfortable. Slightly short on me since I am 5’10 with a slender build (ordered a medium). Has built in underwear lining which is convenient for hot summer days and the short length.
