BambooMama Women's Birthing Shirt - for Pregnancy, Labor and Nursing

I absolutely love this gown! I haven't used it yet as I'm still 5wks away from delivery but I was very impressed with the quality of it when I finally received it in the mail. The bamboo/organic cotton blend is very soft and the gown has a good amount of stretch to it. The snap buttons down the front are going to great for all those late night nursing sessions as well. Im very petite (5'0" and 125lbs @ 35wks preggo) and ordered the gown in a small and it fits very well, not too snug and it doesn't look like I'm swimming in it. The length is appropriate as well, hitting right at my knees, although it will probably be a little longer after I have the baby. The side slits go a little higher than I was expecting but it isn't an issue. The only thing I could do without is the side ranching, considering that I will only be using this gown postpartum but that isn't a big deal either. It is a bit on the pricey side but I have no problem splurging on quality items and I really feel this gown is of excellent quality. I'm really happy with it!8/8/15 - I just wanted to take the time to provide an update. I absolutely loved having this gown in the hospital after my delivery. It was nice and comfortable to lounge around in and the front snaps made it so easy to breastfeed my baby when he was hungry. I used this gown frequently after getting home from the hospital and I continue to use and love it even though I'm done nursing. The material has held up well and has proven to be very durable.

I (I'm using my husbands acct so ignore the name) ordered this birthing shirt to wear during my labor and delivery --and while I haven't gone into labor yet, I can already say from trying it on that's its a very soft well made material, practical with the buttons coming down just enough to breast feed and do skin to skin, and the slits on sides seem practical for more range of motion and leg space when moving around and obviously for pushing baby out. (They are not too high in my opinion and show less than a hospital birthing gown that's open in the back would.) It fits well and is flattering so you feel decently dressed while in it. I think this is a great product and I can't wait to use it for my upcoming labor and delivery. As well as afterwards at home.

This birthing shirt is so comfy, I imagine I'll be wearing it for many months postpartum. It's stretchy, soft and breathable. I love the buttons down the front for skin to skin contact and breastfeeding (and easy cover-up when family drops by). The slits on the side are maybe a tad high as others have mentioned, but I would imagine that is so that you can find an optimal birthing position. I figure I can always add a pair of yoga pants. I was hesitant to spend the money on this item, but so glad I did. May even buy another!

So soft and stretchy! I wish they had a non birthing gown/pj's for every day use! You can use this one for every day but I am 5' 10" and the leg sits fall just below my butt. Kind of makes me feel like Tonto with a loincloth haha, but served it's purpose well. Would purchase again.

I love everything a out this nightgown! Wore it throughout and my labor and stay in the hospital. Fabric is a great weight - feels like it has some substance to it. Doesn't feel like a light, inexpensive night shirt. It is very cool and comfortable to sleep in, perfect for nursing and pumping overnight, too. Washes and dries well. I still wear it 2 months postpartum even though it's rather large on me now. Well worth the money!

I wore this while delivering my first child. It was a wise choice. It kept me covered during labor so I could be mobile. And when she was born, I could just rip open the buttons on front so we were able to do skin to skin right away. Worked perfectly, and it was pretty comfortable, too.

For such a high price I was disappointed in the birthing shirt, sure the fabric was great but not worth the money. And when I wore it pregnant my big belly made me look flat chested while when I wore it postpartum it was just way too big which is why I returned it for a refund.

This is a great nightshirt. It offers access for breastfeeding and skin-to-skin contact without extra straps and encumbrances, which is hard to find. The material is really, really soft and comfy, and the sizing it comfortable -- loose enough but still fitted.
