Best addition to my Christmas village ever! Only down side is the battery pack is so large... easily 4 times as big as the fire. Hoping that means it will stay well lit for a long time.

A great add on for my wife’s Christmas village. This is for a ceramic village set. It is small and fits a ceramic Christmas village perfect. I keep saying this as others have gave a bad review on a product that is exactly as advertised. To the morons giving bad reviews... don’t give a bad review on an item because you didn’t read or the discription or know how to read a ruler to understand the size. Someone bought this for their kids to have an indoor camp site. This is a small battery powered camp fire designed to fit a ceramic Christmas type village. It might even fit an O-gauge train set. We plan to power it with a power pack for the village houses.

I like it - good level of lighting and fits in with my Christmas Village. Was expecting to simply plug it into one of the existing AC adapters. Not a product fault, but my oversight that it requires its own proprietary adapter. Works just fine with batteries - buyer beware, there's a LOT of incorrect info about Dept 56 lighted accessories and their various adapter compatibility on Amazon.

Very cool campfire accessory to accompany a village. The glow of the lighted fire is a very warm tone. Perfect near a skating pond, carolers etc.

I have the Roasting Marshmallows Snow Village piece and the original fire piece burned out several years ago and my husband ordered another one off of ebay I believe and it lasted only 1 season. So, I decided to just set it out and settle for a non-glowing fire for a few years. Then, as I was looking this year for my great nieces and nephews Disney Village pieces, I found this one and took a chance and ordered it. It is designed differently and is working beautifully. I hope it last for many years to come because it looks so pretty!

Who doesn't need another Dickens accessory for their village? This one is fun and quite detailed. It's a good overall value.

I bought this way ahead of needing it, so when I tried to use it for my Christmas village, I discovered it doesn't work at all - not with batteries or an adapter. Would be cute if it worked. :( Since it's been so long, I can't return it. I am ordering another one, but will try it as soon as I get it this time!!

Use for a decoration on my mantle. Very Cute! Flickers like a real campfire. Batteries seem to last forever.

We use this with a doll’s tent for our granddaughters to imagine their dolls camping out. Works well, just install the batteries and turn on or off as required. This isn’t a very big item but it does the job.
