Q: Is it hot when you wax it on the skin ?

Yes, sometimes, it depends how long you let it warm up before using it, but not to where it burns you. I have been using this for about ten years now, and I have never burned my self.

Q: is this just wax and oil? I already have a hot plate and pot.

You just heat this lightly on a hot plate. The wax melts quickly. They give you wooden applicators. Just apply and peel off. Very effective.

Q: Does it include application sticks or a vessel to warm the wax in?

There are three large sticks and two small sticks. The wax is in a small metal pot so you can place it directly on your stove top, I bought the Parissa warming plate that works great for it. It also comes with an oil you place after. As a tip to ease pain on the bikini line I use a light coating of the oil to keep from pulling on the skin, that works for me. I also bought wax strips to use which makes it easier for me personally, it doesn’t fully need it but it helps a lot.
