Eco Nom Three Layer Stainless Steel Lunch Box

I LOVE THIS! I have a lot of tiffins and stainless containers, and this one is wonderful. (and I got a good price -- less than half of what I see now?) I used this yesterday, and I was delighted with it. I put lettuce in the bottom, a chopped Fuji apple in the middle, and gardein (plant-based) chick'n strips in the top. When I assembled my salad on a plate, I was shocked at how much lettuce I had packed, and how delicious my salad was (Daiya bleu cheez dressing). As for those who say it's too small, it depends on the aim, how large a lunch or snack, etc. That's why I have a lot of tiffins and bento boxes, from snack sizes to full size. This one is FANTASTIC! I can't wait to see what goes into it today. I'm thinking it's going to be great for walnuts, or cranberries, or grapes, croutons, vegan sushi rolls, thai peanut wraps, summer rolls ... yum and it's so BEAUTIFUL and plastic-free!

I purchased this in my recent personal commitment to be eco-friendly. I do like it, but it has its limitations especially with the size of the compartments. Each compartment bottoms out into its accompanying compartment so keep that in mind when you are placing food or else it will get smashed. I would leave about 1/2 inch of breathing room as you top up the compartment.CREATE MORE ROOM TIP: If you need some extra room and you do not need the top compartment for anything, just remove the top compartment, keep the top lid and Voila! You have more room for that middle compartment for food.

We use this in the skip hop lunch boxes and it fits perfectly with a flat ice pack in the skip hop pocket. My daughter is 2.5 years old and she can easily open it (after we pushed down on the clasps to loosen them) and she likes having all the compartments for her lunch. We especially like that we can put her fork and spoon directly into the top layer and keep them food free without using a separate cutlery container like most kids have. We would highly recommend. It cleans really well by hand or in the dishwasher and will last many years to come.

I love the IDEA of this lunch box-- yay, less waste!! The drawback is that the size isn't very practical. It's very small and there is no convenient handle for carrying it. If it were at least 1/3 larger and had a handle attached to the top it would be perfect. I expected more due to the hefty price tag on this lunch box.

It's held up really well, and I use it almost every day, just loose in the bottom of my bag. Every once in a while the top will come undone, but I'm really rough on it, and have overall been extremely impressed by it. No signs of tarnishing or real wear, and it's taken a beating!

We love this.It is easy to take apart and re-assemble.Even our kids can do it.The quality looks good.---Update 7-2017One of the metal clips broke, after very little use. Cheap.Useless now.

Solid, durable construction and surprisingly spacious! The top also snaps onto either of the bottom containers for a smaller option. This easily fits a satisfying-size meal for any age, but my favorite use is a dual-snack container for outings with my 2 kids.

Great little tin for Zero Waste take out. Sustainable materials. Plastic-free. Very cute. Surprisingly fits a good amount of food.
