This works like it should. Good fit, the included basket seems at least on par with the factory basket. It's lighter than I expected which is not necessarily a bad thing. I've been using daily for several months and there is no visible wear and tear on the handle.

I got this portafilter on the recommendation of a Breville expert barista on YouTube. It really does help educate a more novice person such as myself because any channeling becomes VERY obvious when you look at the bottom screen during extraction. The Breville portafilter completely hides the extraction so you have no idea if it's channeling or not.I'm making much more consistent shots and it's great to get visual confirmation of that perfect single stream under the portafilter, plus it's just fun watching the brew take place. I also purchased a good heavy distributor puck type tool and that's made probably the biggest different in the consistent quality of my shots. Really distributes the grounds much more evenly.One thing I noticed with the included basket is that it has straighter sides and therefore holds slightly more grounds than the stock Breville basket. I had to increase my dose from 18 grams to 20 grams in order to fill the basket to the correct height after tamping and using the razor tool. The included basket also has a bit more surface area to the screen, which increases the quality of the extraction, I've noticed a positive difference in that as well, so I've kept using this basket instead of the Breville basket.I'm overall very happy I purchased this and it's been a definitely plus to the quality of my espresso shots. I highly recommend it to beginning baristas.

This will make sores so game better. This will will brew a perfect shot if you temp hard and evenly. Any bottomless filter will have channeling unless you really know your grind settings. I kept mine to 4-5 and it brewed a perfect shot. Really worth the money.

Wasn't ready to record but cleaning, cause I've seen so many videos of mess😂 handle is so nice and neat, love the color and grip. Also it's including the basket! It's worth every penny.

I've wanted to experiment with a bottomless portafilter for my Breville Infuser for years, but the non-standard Breville portafilter size left me with few options. Now it seems that there're a good number of choices out there. This was one of the more affordable options available, but I couldn't be more pleased.A few highlights:1. The wooden handle feels nice to grip and looks good. My espresso machine is prominently displayed in my kitchen so this is important to me.2. The basket fits perfectly in the portafilter and the portafilter fits perfectly into the group head. It's lighter overall than Breville's portafilter, but it still feels sturdy.3. There're a lot of advantages to a bottomless design this that I didn't immediately think of, notably that I can now fit a taller glass or mug and scale under the portafilter without things getting too tight and that it completely eliminates those annoying residual drips after you clean it or pull a shot since there's no hidden pockets for liquids to accumulate.Overall, it's very satisfying to know that you've tamped properly and see the espresso coming out smoothly, which is why you'd buy this in the first place. So many variables with pulling a good espresso shot - it's nice to eliminate as many as you can.Definitely give this portafilter a shot (haha)!

Fits my Breville BES870XL Barista Express. Much better than I expected for the price -- it was half the price of similar bottomless portafilters on amazon, yet was of very good quality. The wood is nice, the machining and finish on the metal parts is nice, and it even came with a basket which I inspected under a microscope, and what do you know, it's good too. I put some oil on the wood, which made it look great. Not sure how they can sell this so cheaply, because it isn't cheap.

This definitely surpassed my expectations. I wanted a bottomless portafilter but I didn’t want to spend $70-80. I was uncertain about some other portafilters that weren’t the right size and caused leaks, but this portafilter is great! This bottomless portafilter is sturdy, almost identical when compared to the Breville 54mm stock portafilter that came with my Breville infuser. The handle length is slightly longer than stock. The only thing that I might have to do with the handle is polish it in the future. The wooden handle is also detachable so if you have other colors or types, you could easily swap this. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product though and would highly recommend it! 🙂Black handle in the images attached is the stock 54mm portafilter with the Breville Infuser.
