I wanted to be able to use the shower on our claw foot tub but my husband said we couldn’t because of the “false ceiling”. Then I found this one that can be mounted to the walls only! It was quite a bit more expensive than some of the other (attach to ceiling) ones but it is very good quality, easily installed, and it looks beautiful! I love it!

However,.. it requires 10 screws for installation and for me all 10 screws will be in tile or glass tile. With this many holes to drill I can't gamble with a masonry bit, I must buy diamond core bits 1/4" diameter. I picked up 5 bits for $15 bucks so it's no big deal. Be sure to buy the wax-filled bits that are made for a dry drill with no water.

The build quality is substantial. The tolerances are very tight—too tight for irregular surfaces, complex geometries/spaces—especially with older homes. The screw anchors are better replaced with higher quality choices. In the manufacturing environment where virtually all designing and production is developed with computer-aided design, the instructions are a bit primitive. The product is pricey relative to other choices. Boxing may offer some exposure to bending given the size of the product and not always gentle handling in transit.

This shower curtain holder was very easy to install and it looks great! The holder being in the middle makes it hard to move the rings around but we only had the back wall for support. I definitely recommend this if you're in the same position.

Absolutely NOT worth $200!!! It comes with 3 pieces and they suppose to snap tidy in place. They do not! It would be prob much easier if the tubes slid into each other. The tube connector does not create snugly/tight fit (yes we did follow instructions and watched video). So bottom line in my opinion it is absolutely not worth the money. I would not buy it again.

Easy install extra set of hands helps.

Purchased an old home with a clawfoot tub in one of the bathrooms. The bathroom has a window on the wall next to the tub and above the tub, the ceiling slants sharply, so double whammy. I ordered about 4 different shower kits and none of them worked. Either they had a support bar that needed to lay flush to the wall, but the window in the bathroom prevents that, or ceiling support rods would need to be cut to accommodate the slanting of the ceiling and I was not interested in having to cut anything!One day I noticed a picture on the Sherwin Williams Facebook page in which they were advertising a new paint color by painting a small bathroom that looked very similar to mine…including a clawfoot tub next to a wall (although no window there like mine). The shower kit they installed had a support bar that did not need to be laid flush to a wall. I thought that’s PERFECT to accommodate the window in my bathroom. Secondly, the ceiling support was adjustable which would accommodate the slant in the ceiling. I needed to have this! I was going to contact Sherwin Williams to find out where they got the kit, but first I thought I’d try Amazon, and here it is! I was so excited cause it looks exactly like what Sherwin Williams used and is so affordable!Kit was super easy to put together. The most difficult part is just the measurements and attaching separate pieces to make a functional shower (riser, faucet, showerhead). Definitely need two people to install the kit. It is slightly off-center over my tub, but slightly. I am just so pleased, see pics!

Very nice unit but the one issue it had was that the internal steel pieces that connect the rod together was not adequate. I needed to purchase and affix hose clamps to keep them together which certainly hurt the esthetics of it. I tried to contact the company for a new pair of tighter connecting pieces but there was no way of doing so. There was a phone number but nothing but an answering machine and no one ever got back to me.

Nice and sturdy. Would reccomend.
