Great product!!!
This was a fantastic product to work with. Did just as it promised it would. I bet 30 years of lint came out. We rent our home, and the landlord is Invitation Homes and are terrible about service, so we did it ourselves. Our dryer wasn't working well, and I thought since the vent goes out through the roof that it might be clogged up. Man was I right. We filled up a shop vac in just a few minutes. This worked so well. I used an electric drill from the days of old. Nothing like a 110 electric drill for power. I went about 25 feet or so until I hit the top of the vent. I then went into the attic and pulled the hose off the vent and cleaned off the exterior vent. EASY PEASY, SOFT AND EASY. Buy this product. High quality and made to last to use again and again.

Works great, has lots of little tools
I ended up not using my drill and did it by hand just to ensure nothing got damaged, but it worked out great. I detached the hose from the dryer and then twirled it through the pipe from each end, and then reattached it to the dryer. The two different types of brushes were useful. Now my clothes take one cycle to dry, instead of a cycle and a half. So with the electricity savings this thing will pay for itself in a few months! A nice side benefit I didn't realize until later.

The flexible pieces that you have to put together are short.
My dryer vent goes through my attic and exits on the roof of my house. My old kit would not reach (20 ft) so I got this one (30 ft). The individual rods are only 16.5 inches so you spend a lot of time assembling and disassembling them as you are cleaning the vent. As you can see from the picture, the tip of one of the rods broke off as I was working the rods around a 45 degree turn in my attic. Fortunately, this happened as I was pulling the rods back and not inside the vent. I was using a cordless drill as to not apply to much torque to them. Other that the one rod breaking the device works as describes and does an excellent job of cleaning.

Works great
Works great! Easy to use. The only thing I am unsure of is how to measure the height up to your dryer vent top so that I know how many pieces to put on???

Worked well
I had my doubts because the rods seemed flimsy. But it worked very well cleaning the dryer duct. My hose is a pretty straight exit from the dryer so I think that helped. So much came out which means I better do it more often!

Works As Advertized
It worked! My laundry room is in the middle of our raised house. So the dryer duct goes down the wall five feet, then out the side of the house another 15 feet or so. I did NOT try to force the brush to make that elbow bend but the rods are more flexible than I imagined when I bought it. I'm pretty certain I could have forced it around the bend. I decided to play it safe and clean out the wall duct from inside the house where I could avoid that 90° bend. All parts seemed quality and heavy duty enough for household use. I'm sure professionals use something even more sturdy. Super great for the price! Some CAUTIONS:MOST Important: Some one else giving a review mentioned that they accidentally reversed the drill and unscrewed a rod inside the duct. This would be catastrophic in my case. So I used some strips of Gorilla Tape to hold my drill direction selector button down in the forward position so no possibility of an accidental reversal. DO THIS!It is mandatory to have two pairs of pliers on hand, or one pliers and a small wrench. Every time you add a section of rod you will have to remove the drill attachment from the previous rod. They are too tight and slippery to unscrew by hand. No problem with the pliers, it's easy and you don't have to grip the rods too tight. Grip them at the metal parts, not the flexible part.Don't even try this without a shop vacuum. Seriously. Just don't.After vacuuming most of the crud out of the duct I took the vac inside and used the blower feature to blow the rest of the dust out from the other end. 99.9% of the lint was removed with this method in my 20 feet of pipe.Don't forget to clean out the inside of the dryer from the back.Photos of my setup outside, and the finished duct-work. Pretty! This has not been done for 15 years as I thought the lint filter in the dryer was supposed to catch all of the lint. The duct was nearly half full of lint the entire length and the elbow was nearly clogged. Thankfully my dryer gave me a code and didn't just catch on fire. The laundry room was heating up when the dryer was in use also - a good clue it is time to clean. I should do this every 5 years probably.I would recommend this product highly. And if I only use it every 5 years I believe it will outlast me. (I'm old)

Great Tool
This is a great product for $25. In my opinion you don’t need to tape the connections because they become very tight as you clean the vent. I wish the rods were longer, but I think they might be made short to reduce the chance of breaking when going through elbows. Here are some tips that will solve some of the problems reported in other reviews.Set drill in a mid torque position.Rods will become very tight. Use two pair of pliers to take them apart. Make sure to place the pliers on the metal fittings and not on plastic rod.Push and pull rods as you clean vent.Once you are done cleaning with rods and brush if you have an ELECTRIC leaf blower force end of blower in dryer vent from inside house and turn it on for three to five minutes. DO NOT USE GAS BLOWER.

It works but not as easy as shown
The brush worked well in 16’ yes a long run. It blocked up at the elbow. Sent in the auger and it opened it up. Had one plastic rod break. In long runs the rods want to twist up on themselves. I’m happy with it.

A must have!
Works really good, cleaned out the dryer pipes that they were shining inside!Don’t pay someone to clean them for $125 because this is what they probably use.All you need is this, cordless drill and a good shop vac and your good.

Awesome Seller, Mine Was Just Defective
Update on my original review: The seller reached out to me and was very apologetic and concerned. Long story short there may have been an issue with my product that is not widespread; the seller is investigating and confirming things on their end. In the meantime I was offered a full refund without the hassle of having to return the defective product. I really couldn’t ask for better communication or actions from a seller in this situation, and for that reason I’m adjusting the review to 5 stars.Original review: As I was spinning my drill and removing the extensions & brush attachment from my vent, one of the nylon rods snapped while it was still in the ductwork!Luckily I could reach into the duct with my arm and pull out the rest of the extensions, but what if the nylon rod had snapped deeper in my wall? I’d be in big trouble!
