KA did it again!
KA Tucker did it again with this captivating story! It absolutely loved the story of River and Amber, finally a guy with an accent to really amp up the characters. Amber is just your typical girl trying to find herself and she was relatable, always wants to play it safe and plan for everything. River threw that all out the window when they meet and you can't help but fall in love with them falling in love.I enjoyed that this story left the United States, as most of the KA's happen in the U.S., it was new and exciting for this to take place across the ocean. I felt like I was experiencing Europe right along with Amber. The only part I didn't like about the novel was all the criminals and trying to figure out which gang they belonged to or who they pissed off.Overall this book was amazing, it did not disappoint and I couldn't wait to read what happens with River and Amber. I'm so excited for the next book!

One of my faves!
I love this book and basically everything this woman writes. Will admit to not reading the first two ( I believe) books from this series yet as this one stood out to me more, but damn, it is good. Will read again, and again.

River Delaney Can Catch Me Anytime!
From my blog: www.bookishhipster.blogspot.comMy Thoughts:****4 Stars****As I am sure you can already tell by now, K.A. Tucker has quickly become one of my favorite authors on this earth and I will never stop obsessing over her work. It's safe to say that I will buy every book by Tucker within due time!In this third book, we follow Jesse Welles, twin sister Amber as she embarks on her cross country journey searching for life outside of her small hometown of Sisters, Oregon. It was definitely nice to get to know Amber Welles a bit more in this novel. Tucker has done an exceptional job creating Jesse and Amber's characters. They are both so different from one another. Amber is more black and white, she knows the difference between right and wrong and where she wants her life to go, she's prided herself on doing the right thing her entire life, while Jesse is the complete opposite, he lives life in screaming color and has had his fair share of misfortunes. This novel started off with a unbelievable bang, literally. Amber arrives in Ireland and finds herself unexpectedly in harms way, cue in River Delaney the charming, sexy, pub owner to the rescue. River finds himself risking his life for a girl he doesn't even know to protect her and to protect his brother. After his daring rescue River leaves Amber to pick up the pieces without even so much as telling her his name. After nearly dying Amber yearns to find the man that saved her life and thank him, and she does find him eventually, but she also seems to find herself too in finding River. These two characters have an instant attraction to one another that only grows throughout the story, despite the obstacles thrown their way. This story was action packed from beginning to end, but yet still had those calmer still moments that worked well together. K.A. Tucker must have done a lot of research for this book and it definitely paid off big time. She did a wonderful job of painting the scenery and the Irish culture with her words. I found myself reading the story in my head with a slight Irish accent during River's chapters and loved that so much.I've already per-ordered Surviving Ice, the fourth book in this heart stopping series and can't wait to read it on October 27th. If you haven't already check out K.A. Tucker's books, you won't be disappointed! I promise!

One of my new faves!!!
Let me start with a little info here...After receiving Chasing River, I was headed on vacation to the UK. This trip also included visiting Ireland. While on my trip...and before going to Ireland, I read Chasing River.I have got to say...this book will make you ache to visit there. While I was in Dublin, I was looking for River..LOL...But seriously...K.A. painted such an amazing picture of Ireland. Detailing us with historic facts all the while weaving it all in to the story we are following. It is such a brilliant tale that you will find yourself pining to find your own Irish guy...*sighs heavily*We met Amber in Burying Water and while we only get a glimpse of who she is then, we already know a good bit about her personality by this point. As much as she wants to be a free spirit, growing up under the watchful eye of her sheriff father made her rigid in so many ways...But meeting River allows us to witness a whole new Amber.I enjoyed getting to know her better. Watching her come out of her shell and truly becoming a woman of her own. Not living under her dad's rules but making her own.I loved how River pushed her out of her comfort zone and seriously ladies...if you met River, you would also be pushing all those boundaries out of the way... LOLK.A. Tucker is one of those authors that I get so excited over when I know a new book is coming. I devour each one and Chasing River is now an added favorite in a long list of amazing books by her.Chasing River is another magnificent story that has captured my heart. It is an action packed, fast moving tale that will grip you from the very beginning. Filled with gut wrenching moments and heart warming scenes, all the while raising your blood pressure from the hot steamy encounters of our beloved Amber and River.A phenomenal series and enchanting tale that you will not want to miss...Make sure you get this one ASAP!!!

An amazing journey through Ireland
5 Stars!I am a fan of KA Tucker and this series stands out as her best work to me. From Burying Water to Becoming Rain to Chasing River, each book in this series is different and fantastic. She paints such a vivid picture of Ireland and the politics that still affect the country and people on a daily basis. I am not a fan of "insta-love" but with this book, I can see how easy it would be to get swept away by River Delaney and his Irish charm. River and Amber were both such real, likeable characters each with their own flaws. A great summer read that takes you on an Irish adventure. I can't wait to read Ivy's book next!Recommend this entire series!
