The Last Kids on Earth Mad Libs

This is a great activity for fans of the book series. Each mad lib has a generous number of blanks to fill in. There is a glossary that covers the different types of words that might be requested for younger players who haven't gotten that far in grammar yet. The stories fit well with the theme of the series and the story arcs of the characters.

When I bought it first I was disappointed, thinking it’s not a story book.... but... my son 9 and daughter 5 loved it!!! They laughed so much reading their silly stories. The sillies word the better story though, they figure it out so stories were really funny. My 5 year old now knows what is an adjective or noun! Learning with fun without knowing it’s learning;)

As a way to get the kids more interested in this book series I bought the video game and the Mad Libs. Both are a hit. We are having fun taking turns filling these outs and reading them out loud. Most are shorter stories and not as complex as some other Mad Libs.

The kid laughs his socks off at this, and gets a bit of writing and grammar practice to boot.

My daughter LOVES these, they're fun, educational and hilarious!
