New Fast Lenovo Quad Turbo Laptop, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, RX Vega Graphics, Win 11 Pro, Office 2021 Pro, 3 Year Warranty

Well, redundancy was something that I had not seen coming........but there again, it was Covid that precipitated the situation (allegedly), that and the fact that the company wanted to get rid of the old timers and indeed those that did not sing the company mantra each and every day....corporate, yes well you can stick that where the sun fails to shine!Therefore, with little time to think things all the way through, the thing that I realised I would need, and in short order, was another laptop and as I already had a Lenovo machine for my personal stuff, started looking for a machine that would fit the bill without costing the earth and settled for a Lenovo Quad Turbo laptop which, supplied by Tecbuyer through Amazon, had Windows 10 Pro and Office already preloaded and, moreover, guaranteed for 3 yearsThe setup was already pretty much completed so that it was only down for me to load a few apps and it was good and ready for that inevitable day when I would start out alone.For the money, this machine is fast indeed and will probably keep me on song for a good couple of years before I need to be looking at anything more powerful. What I particularly like is that just opening the lid on the machine and it jumps into life, not requiring any other input from myself which is great because when I get up in the morning, the first thing that I do is pull up the lid and go make a cup of tea which I then bring back to my "office" and then without anything more to do can start getting busy dealing with overnight emails etc. The screen at 15.6" is plenty big enough and with plenty of adjustment (as indeed is the sound too) although I do plan to connect this machine shortly to two monitors so that I can split emails from Database/internetNow, whereas I did question the quality of my personal Lenovo machine (and though flimsy in comparison, is still doing a sterling job, 12 months on), there are certainly no issues with the Quad Turbo as it is very sturdily built. Even the touch pad feels a lot more durable (even though I have actually foregone the use of that as I have also purchased a wireless mouse) so I have no worries that this is going to have proven to be a good VFM purchase and from a supplier who certainly are putting their money where their mouth is!Addition 10/02/2023Fast approaching the second anniversary for this machine.... Nothing has fallen off and no operating issues to report. I have, however taken the option to recently upload Windows 11 and, for a while this seemed to upset the stability of the machine but, thankfully, it has now settled down and is operating within expected parameters. At least this was a free upgrade in light of the fact that Microsoft is not going to be supporting Windows 10 for very much longer (which means that my other machine which cannot upload Windows 11 due to it not meeting the minimum requirement protocols, is going to be yet another casualty of this Microsoft decision!)

I love this laptop! It's very sturdy but also light. It starts up very quickly and I love the fact it powers itself on when you lift the lid. Even after putting all my programs and stuff on, it still keeps its speed and loads quickly. I've only heard the fan come on briefly a couple of times and it is super quiet. I find the keyboard very easy to type quickly on and love having the numbers at the side as well. The limited social media games that I play on here load up quicker then my previous laptop, so that's a bonus as it was one of the reasons I wanted a new one for. The free 3 year warranty that comes with it, really puts the price ahead of the competition, and worth it. I haven't found a negative thing to report yet, which is rare for laptops. I am very happy with my purchase! A solid 10 out of 10!

This laptop is a good value for money item. The big drawback is that it wasn’t supplied with a password rest disk and if password is forgotten is an absolute beast to get reset.Make one as soon as you received this item after your personal setup is complete, it will save you a big amount of time later.

I purchased this laptop for my grandsons 8 th birthday. I was very pleased with my purchase. I am not very technically minded but this laptop was researched by his 18 yr old older sister who is far more knowledgeable than myself. It has everything she said was required, was easy to set up and so far no problems at all. She is in fact quite envious of it!A good purchase, recommended.

Fast well made laptop , office preloaded which is great , just opened the lid and it booted up in seconds.The warranty is already registered , one of my pet hates as I always put off doing it ! You also get a handy A4 sheet of paper telling you who you have bought it off with all the contact details , very reassuring . Them you get an extra years cover for leaving a good review.Make sure you set a windows system restore point as soon as you turn it on , and then make a few as you install your software , this will save you much hassle if you get problems further down the line. Haven’t made a backup reinstall file/ cd yet but will sort that todayRecommended .

Can't really fault the laptop itself although wasn't able to fully test it out for reasons I'll explain. Would never buy from this seller Tec Buyer, however, ever again. I bought this as an birthday present for my husband who has a big birthday coming up. The laptop was advertised as having Windows 11 Pro installed. I set up the laptop but kept getting a message telling me to activate Windows. Quickly found out I was unable to do this as the license key provided was for Windows Home not Windows Pro 11. I emailed the Tec Buyer support email address provided in the delivery package and waited 6 days but received no reply. I then realised they had a WhatsApp support group so messaged them on that. I received an answer asking what my query was even though my original message explained fully why I was messaging them...dur. I explained the problem again then received a reply (7 hours later) asking for a copy of my invoice. I sent this to them. This was 2 days ago and i am still awaiting their reply. Today, fed up of waiting any longer for Tec Buyer to respond, and with it now being just 3 days away from my husband's big birthday, I have contacted Amazon support and had to request a refund. The laptop has been sent back today but I am unlikely to receive the refund before my husband's birthday and can't afford to replace it until I receive the money back so he now has no birthday present :( Thanks Tec Buyer for ruining his big day! Pathetic customer service. DO NOT BUY A LAPTOP FROM THESE PEOPLE.
