Yes, it just keeps dye from reattaching.

Yes. But when washing by hand you can keep the water running so the loose dye goes down the drain.

Hi, I'd like to help but need more info first. The amount you'd use varies according to the purpose of use, weight of materials/ fibers, machine load size setting amount, techniques you have in mind for fabric/ fiber, and whether the question is for pre or post techniques.....
