Our dog has had a limp off/on for a couple years from arthritis in shoulder, which is worse on days he's too active. Rimadyl didn't seem to help much. We tried a supplement from GNC that he would not eat/swallow no matter what it was disguised in, so we moved on to these supplements for the high reviews. Two weeks in his limp faded. He rarely limps now unless he has put in an extra heavy play day. This stuff really really works. One dog will eat the tablets as-is, but the other dog will only eat them if I dip them in canned dog food or pet gravy or ice cream -- just needs a small amount of any other food on it to convince him.Try this two or three weeks, follow the instructions. Don't get discouraged the first couple weeks. You will just suddenly notice a difference one day.

I read reviews and decided to give this a try. So far, so good. My german shepherd Trooper seems to be moving along well. He is 12 years old. I rescued him at around 2 years, so the vets said. I also cut back on his food a bit to help him lose some weight. He is now 95 lbs. The vet says his trouble with his back legs is better. I can only attribute it to the supplement and the fact he lost about 7 lbs. He seems happy and can walk longer than before. His hind feet do not drag like they used to. Occasionally he will have a little drag with one or the other feet. He used to trip up more often and would almost collapse sometimes while walking and I would have to cut the walk short. Wow, what a difference these made in my dog. She is a 13 year old australian shepherd with stiff joints. She has a sensitive digestive system so we started with the lower dose. Even with that, within 3 to 4 days we could tell the difference! She bounced around and ran around the yard like she was a puppy! It was so obvious the difference these make in her agility and overall comfort. She moves so much better, from a laying position to standing up and prances using all four legs in motion, something we have not seen in several years. These also have not affected her stools, which we were worried about. I believe she feels better and is in less pain as well. Her eyes are brighter and her ears are perked up like she is ready to go most of the time. We also noticed her coat is softer as well. Great product and we will continue to purchase and give her this brand.

Unfortunately these pills did not go well with my 75 lbs 10 1/2 year old boxer.It got him acting really weird, like he was really high, he looked so out of it and kept spinning in circles and bumping into things. I followed the directions on how to give it to him based on his weight. He was on it for two days and the moment I stopped giving it to him he started calming down slowly. Now he's not on them anymore and he's back to normal.

We started giving our dog this supplement to our dog a few months ago as a precaution. However, our 10 year old pit bull mix suddenly started struggling with arthritis in his rear hips (he has dysplasia). We took him to the vet and were given some anti-inflammatory medications and were told to consider adequan injections in addition to the joint supplement. Great product, my dog had ACL surgery and I found out afterward that he has Acute Arthritis in that same leg, he spends the majority of the time limping and favoring that leg after much activity. I ordered this after extensive research, reading tons of reviews, and high hopes. My dog, lab-x, Duce, has arthritis primarily in his back legs due to plain ol' old age.
