ArchFlexSystem foot beds were developed in conjunction with Portola AB of Sweden, one of the oldest and most respected custom orthopedic laboratories in Scandinavia. Based on what they learned from engineering thousands of pairs of custom orthotics (350-500), they felt they could build much of the function into this semi-custom product at a fraction of the price. The wide range of human foot types, biomechanical patterns and uses dictate that active people will benefit from enhanced support, cushion and fit of an upgraded foot bed vs. what is provided as original equipment in most off the shelf footwear.

Happy Dance!
Wish they weren't so spendy....but that said I've bought about 4-5 pairs because they are a life saver!! Without them I walk around with the balls of my feet feeling horribly bruised. I originally bought the ArchFlexSystem Adult Upgrade Replacement Insole on the advice of my podiatrist. I love them for hiking boots. But too stiff and clunky for other footwear. Then I read about the slim sport. Yes!! They not only fit well in sneakers but can be trimmed to fit into other types of shoes (recently I trimmed a pair to put into Lindsey Phillips ballet shoes....a little tight width-wise but doable. I was doing a happy dance!! Beware: you will likely have to adjust your shoe size due to width of support (length of supports is easy to trim but only so much can be taken off the sides). I wear a women's size 7.5 shoe but have begun buying 8.5 shoes that can accommodate both the original and slim supports.

After wearing the ArchFlexSystem Footbeds I have been very happy with the resulting lessening of pain in my knees
After talking to a friend about knee pain, she suggested that I purchase some inserts for my shoes. I didn't want to go through the expense of going to a podiatrist and so I looked on Amazon for inserts. After wearing the ArchFlexSystem Footbeds I have been very happy with the resulting lessening of pain in my knees. It did take several weeks for the pain to subside, but I do notice pain again when I wear shoes without the inserts.I have recommended these inserts to several of my friends and they have all been extremely happy with the results. I purchased the high arch footbed and they have had to purchase the lower arch support models, as the high arch footbed was too extreme for their feet. They are now recommending these inserts to their friends and acquaintances.I have been using the ArchFlexSystem Footbeds for over 6 months and they show little wear and are still supporting my feet and lessening my knee pain.

Great insoles for cleats
The problem that I have is that most if not all soccer cleat don't have enough arch support. I have been through countless number of insoles and all the ones I have tried so far didn't fit well and or didn't have enough support. These insoles are slim enough to fit in cleats and provide good arch support. I was a little uncertain about the metatarsal bump but was pleasantly surprised that it is not very stiff at all and I don't notice it while playing. The only thing I would suggest is to get a size smaller if you are using them in cleats but, otherwise, these are great.

Tough to Cut - but Great in Use!
I struggled a little bit to get these cut to the proper size because I felt I might be damaging them. Perhaps my Salomon Fell Raisers are just *that* narrow, but I had to cut into the harder plastic in order to get them to fit. Not the fault of the product, though they could perhaps offer clearer instructions.Anyway, once I got them in the shoes, I really could feel how it was putting my foot where it belonged and resolving a lot of my issues.Very happy with the product!

High on arch support
I was having heel pain in one previously injured foot. I have always had high arches but relied on normal-arch inserts; it never occurred to me that this failed to distribute my weight across the sole of my foot correctly. These inserts have made all the difference.

In all of my shoes
I've actually ripped out a lot of the insoles in my shoes and replaced with the ArchFlexSystem SlimSport. In the first day of use I noticed improvement in what I thought were just the usual issues associated with being middle aged. Issues like random hip pain, lower back pain, occasional leg pain and foot cramping. I just thought it's what getting older meant. But maybe i was wrong? I have a few pair of fashion sneakers that i love - but don't have the same support as my sport sneakers, (like running shoes, hiking shoes, etc). With these inserts - i can walk in my fashion sneakers for over 5 miles, and continue to wear them all day - and actually feel refreshed. One reviewer mentions a bump in the arch, and I feel it at first - but within a few minutes, i don't notice it at all. Not sure what purpose it serves, but it must do something. :-] Good luck, and i hope you find them as beneficial as i did.

A well made product
These need to be trimmed to fit my size 10 shoe but I expected that and it was not a problem to trim them with scissors. Nevertheless, it turned out that the arch support was a little to high for me to wear them comfortably all day long. Someone else may find them to be just right.

Less expensive than my Dr. Scholl's - but can't replace them.
I wanted a less expensive option to the Dr. Scholl's support inserts I usually wear. These were ok as a replacement. However, they "wore out" more rapidly than my Scholl's. These were ok as a temporary replacement. However, I wouldn't purchase them again.

Cumplen
Pues las botas me costaron 400 y estás plantillas casi 200! Me parecen caras, pero las necesito y las compré. Aunque checando precios, resulta que muchas plantillas cuestan eso y más. Un mes de uso y siguen bien.
