MTN DVSN Panther Pack Black- Aggressive Skate Backpack (Holds 1 Pair of Skates)

Reviews for this bag are hard to find even outside of Amazon. But scattered across the internet are a handful: The bag is either really great or it falls apart. I was aware of the bad reviews that very specifically called out weak points in the bag but bought it anyways because I had also read some good reviews and I just loved the idea of it. But this was a bad purchase. Knowing of the bad reviews, I inspected it thoroughly when I got it and it was fine. But after taking it on a week long road trip as my main backpack I've already have points where the stitches are coming undone. The stitches connecting the outer pocket to the main pocket have come undone completely on one side. The other side looks strong but the undone side is one or two stitches away from the pocket just dangling there. That's the pocket I'd carry my wallet, phone, ipod and other small but important items in! I can fit my whole hand between the outside pocket and the main backpack where there should be no space there. The material that lines the back is coming off because the stitches have come undone revealing the white down comfort fabric underneath. Other bad reviews for this bag and the other rollerblading bag this company sells said the stitches at the straps and where the carabiners connect are weak. Mine haven't come undone yet. I ride a motorcycle and I bought this bag with the intention of being able to ride my motorcycle while also carrying my rollerblades on my back but I'm not confident at all that my strap, or the carabiner stitching isn't going to come undone while I'm out on the road. I've had twenty dollar backpacks I bought in department stores for school that have lasted years, still going strong, and been through so much more than this one did for a week. I don't understand why this one is already falling apart so soon. I don't get why they just can't just put some carabiners on a jansport. At ~60 dollars you'd think they'd be able to do that and have it be quality. I'll probably try and repair and strengthen these stitches but I shouldn't have to this soon and I'll never use this backpack while on my motorcycle. I actually can't think of a situation when I would use it, when the pocket falling off, a strap coming undone would be okay. I'll probably ask somebody much more skilled than I to sew on what this bag has to carry rollerblades onto a years old bag I already own and that has treated me well.Backpacks with rollerblade, or boot attachments on the outside are hard to find even though they're a great idea and I really want, need one. I should have really not been so easily tempted. Especially because there were a couple reviews detailing the same problems I had. I made a mistake but you don't have to.

Strap broke off at the top after 3 weeks of light use. Seller was great about taking care of the issue. 5 Stars for the seller. 1 Star for the product.
