When i first opened the bag, I wasn’t sure. Just a strong smell - not totally unpleasant.But I gave them a try and I’m glad. They’re seriously addictive - I like to dip them in a spicy Thai sauce.My only complaint is that you don’t get a whole lot in the bag - which might actually be a good thing. Limits me from over snacking!

To me these taste a lot like the fish fillets from Long John Silver's. There's a definite flavor of battered fish with a sweet undertone. The aftertaste takes some getting used to, so it helps to have a drink handy. Otherwise they're tasty and wonderfully crunchy. The bags are portion sized, so pretty small, but since these are not particularly healthy that's probably for the best.

I recently had the chance to try some calamari chips, and while they were overall okay, there were a few issues that detracted from my enjoyment of them. One of the main problems I encountered was a strange, almost off-putting flavour that I couldn't quite identify. It was definitely not what I was expecting when I ordered calamari chips, and it made it difficult to fully appreciate the other elements of the dish.In addition to the odd taste, I also found that the calamari chips themselves could have been thicker. While they had a nice crunch to them, they were quite thin and seemed to lack the satisfying chewiness that I usually associate with calamari. I think if they were thicker and more substantial, they would have been much more enjoyable to eat.Despite these issues, I did appreciate some aspects of the calamari chips. Overall, while I wouldn't necessarily recommend these calamari chips without caveats, I think they could be improved with some adjustments to the flavour and thickness of the chips themselves.

Was very hopeful on giving this item a go since you figure, high cost, better value? It has a high price point - around $5 per bag which contains 1.5oz, which means only 1 serving per bag.Product has an old, stale, heavy oil taste and scent. Was hoping maybe 1 out of the 3 bags in this purchase would've been okay but was disappointed that each bag was consistently bad.Also, you should take a peek at the nutritional facts on this... sodium at 240 mg - 10% of recommended daily value and saturated fat at 13g, 17% of recommended daily value. a bit high for a snack at 1.5oz.Would not recommend.

Not what i expected good flavor but in a jerky form, takes a minute to chew! Wasnt impressed and wont order again but you may feel differently..i tried chopping to use in salad but hard to chop too so i ended up blending in food processor with cream cheese and spices to make a cracker spread which was awesome.

This snack is exactly what it says on the bag, a crispy dried squid snack that is a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savory. The outside coating is crispy and while the squid has a little chew initially it softens pretty quickly so you don't have to wear your jaw out to enjoy it. My whole family are seafood lovers and unsurprisingly loved this, even my 9-year-old kept asking for more after her initial taste.The biggest negative to this snack is the price. At about $5 per serving (assuming you eat an entire bag according to the serving size) it's a little expensive for an everyday thing.

I originally ordered because I was intrigued, but I actually really enjoyed this snack. It's pricy so I won't be ordering it all the time, but tasty and unique.

The flavor was OK, too sweet for what I was expecting. The main thing was the texture. It wasn't crispy at all. It tasted like it was made when a storm front was moving in (maybe it was). I will finish the other 2 packs in the 3-pack, but I won't order it again. I LOVE fried squid and I have eaten it all over the world. This sounded like something that I would really like. I didn't.

Pretty tasty, but I would never call them "crispy"They are more like a chewy greasy batter, and quite a thick coating around the squid.

Wanted to try something different. Nope, no way never again. Not like calamari at all. Think concentrated fish flavor alot!

Tough and does not taste like calamari.

10/10 am going to buy again
