my fault I should have returned earlier

Using on a Brother, low shank home sewing machine. The foot fits perfectly on the machine and looks like it would work, but it simply does not do the job. The binding strip will not properly fold as it's feeding through the machine, so it leaves raw edges in spots, or places where the binding turns the wrong way. Finished binding is wavy and looks terrible. Tried on single fold bias strips of different widths, with different tensions. Also tried cut bias and on-grain strips of cotton broadcloth, not pre-folded, 1'', 1.25'', and 1.5''. Nothing I do makes this foot work. Don't waste your money. I was hoping to get a generic foot that worked and avoid spending 20 to 30 dollars on one from brother, but this one was a waste at any price.

Looks good but when you touch it, it will bend easily. There are better metal quality out there but we get what we pay for? Well, I guess I'm not buying sewing tool any more if they're not original parts. This dog has bitten me twice, lesson learned.

Bends so easily. Does not fit the brother, nor the janome, nor the Pfaff, nor the viking Husqvarna sewing machines. Waste not your time and money. Did not return because I forgot about it. Not even worth the price.

I ordered the wrong one I have high shank machines and this is for a low shank :'(
