It does work, but it's not as quick/easy as it says it is!Like an idiot, I'd put double sided sellotape on furniture to stop the cat jumping on it. I assumed (incorrectly) that this could be peeled off in time. But no! It's a proper sticky mess everywhere.This stuff you have to put on and wait..... Then start to peel at it with a blunt knife or nails and it does come off. This was properly sticky stuff though, sure it would hold a TV on the wall!Smells OK too. Bit solventy but mainly of orange.

Purchased 4 different types of carpet cleaners to remove chewing gum from the newly fitted carpet. First one to arrive was De-solve-it, which didn’t work. This was the 2nd to arrive, and to my relief (and overjoy!!) this removed it with very little effort. I suffered physical injuries to my spine whilst escaping a house fire and was left widowed with 3 children (2 with disabilities) as a result. I cannot do tasks which require a lot of physical effort, and thankfully this yellow liquid worked like magic for me! If only every thing in life was this easy!I very rarely write reviews, but made an exception in this case in the hope it will help someone in a similar situation! We’ve only just moved into our own home after living with family for 3 years (since the fire) and was devastated to find the gum on the new carpet.

We had some horrible black stains in a stair carpet that I had been completely unable to get out. They weren't sticky but looked a bit like dry tar. I really didn't think this would work as they had been in the carpet for months while I tried all sorts of other products. But within moments this amazing product was melting it away - admittedly I did not exactly follow the instructions but poured the liquid on and then rubbed it in (it is a very tough carpet, to be fair) but we are delighted with the result. Well worth the money!

I used this to get duck/duck tape residue off some fabric and carpet. Worked on both, followed the directions on the back of the bottle. Very impressed, no residue left. Lots left too so I will need to try it on some more projects.

Works well but elbow grease still required on stubborn goo, eg a plastic bladed scraper. Have used this for a couple of years now and recommend it for glue marks/residue that hasn't been removed by other means. Have used on GRP, glass, uPVC and painted surfaces and not seen any damage done to surface. Has removed vinyl lettering marks, crafting glue dots, tape residue and even black roofing felt adhesive fingerprints from a white showerhead! Pleasant citrus smell, a little goes a long way, still on my first bottle.
