Probably the best oil I’ve used to date. I’ve used many, many pre-shave oils and this is by far the smoothest and best value yet. I have to shave everyday sometimes 7 days a week so my face takes a beating. I’m old school and use classic lather in a bowl with a classic safety razor. (Smoothest, closest shave) Pre-shave oil is a must for shaving in this fashion. It’s not to thick when applying and the smell is just right. It seems to last about a pass and a half as I make 3 full passes with the old fashioned safety blades. And for money value it’s great. I’ll gladly pay the price for this with what little you actually need and what you get in a bottle. Highly recommend for anyone needing the pre-shave oil treatment!

I started using this in place of the alcohol-based Lectric Shave, which I have used for years. I was a little worried about using an oil-based product with an electric shaver, but I can actually see my whiskers "standing up" more after I use this, and the shave is smoother then Lectric Shave. I even put on another coat after my shave instead of my old moisturizer, to further moisturize my face. My electric razor needs a little more attention, since my whiskers now "clump together" because of the oil, but that is not really a problem. The odor is lemony and a little strong at first, but my wife likes it and it goes away after a while.

Twice I've ordered this product and upon opening it after delivery, I find the product's actual box soaked in oil and anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 of the bottle has leaked out. Nothing like getting soaked in scented shaving oil unexpectedly and making a mess everywhere. I have no idea why this keeps occurring, but as a result, I will no longer buy what otherwise was a great product at a great price.

I've used multiple types of pre-shave oil over the years. I've bought the expensive stuff and the cheap stuff, but this brand has hit a sweet spot for me. It's thick enough to provide a layer of comfort as I shave with my safety razor, and the smell is nice. I've noticed significantly less irritation and razor burn since I've started using it. My only issue with this is the included pump. First it took several tries for me to get it open to where the pump action would work. Second, the tube is longer than the bottle is tall which is kind of awkward. Third if you aren't careful one full pump will give out way more oil than you might need. I took off 1 star for the packaging but overall this is a great addition to my shaving supplies!

I have pretty sensitive skin on my neck and was looking for a quality pre-shave oil to add an extra layer of protection. This product hits the mark. So I use about a nickel size amount before each shave. At that rate, one bottle should last a long time. The smell is amazing. It is a sandalwood fragrance and it is medium to lightly strong. Now, being a pre-shave oil, it gets washed off during the shave. It came packaged with two different lids. The one on the bottle is the type where you can push one half down and it raises a spout on the opposite side. The other lid is a pump. The plastic tube that attaches to the end of the pump was about an inch too long and I had to trim it. But I did switch the lid to the pump. The only reason I am giving the product 4 stars out of 5 is the bottle did not come with any type of seal. The lid on the bottle had the spout exposed and a small amount of product had spilled out during the shipping process. But overall I love the product and will reorder whenever I run out!
