It is as good as it claims. I have a thick, decorative, wood, headboard and this lamp fits right above my pillow. There is 2 levels of light and the swivel is perfect for even more options for level of light it emits. I have used it several times, for not more than an hour and I have only charged it once.

Unlike many other lamps, this one's clamp was big enough to fit our headboard. $30 seems a little steep for a book lamp, but this one does the job and does it well.

This light works great for my son's crate furniture twin bed as a bed time reading light. Easy to use, great, two-level light is plenty bright enough to read by on either setting. Overall, great little reading light.
