Bare Escentuals Bareminerals SPF Foundation, Original Fair, 0.28 Ounce

I have been using Bare Minerals foundation for about 12 years, so I know an inferior product when I see it. I bought this product because it appeared by all means to be correct. When I got it, the powder was absolute garbage. It was really yellow and offered super poor coverage. I wore it 1 day because I already had it on and was running late. Even my husband commented on the weird yellow tone of my skin. Upon very close inspection, I found a spelling discrepancy. The item sold to me was from Bare Escantuals. Why should u care? Aside from wasting money on an inferior product, you also don't know if the product is tested on animals, is vegan, or even safe for humans to wear!! The comparison photos I posted contrast the purchased product with the real thing, purchased at Sephora. The real product is fantastic. This dupe is a scam. DO NOT BUY!!!

This is NOT the same foundation as Bare Minerals! The color is darker, It doesn't cover redness AT ALL, It doesn't cover any blemishes AT ALL, and it has a dull, transparent texture when applied. I had to use twice the amount I normally use to cover my entire face, and when I was done, my face looked orange-y pink which was the first tell-all that this wasn't the product as advertised. I use the very lightest color available and it is a cool toned product, not a warmed tone product like the one I received. BUYER BEWARE: I too read the previous comments saying this product was a knock-off. I thought because of he other higher ratings the product would be quality and there was a relatively low chance of me receiving the wrong product, yet I am unfortunately one of the few that rolled the dice and got a knock-off product. I'm going to have to stick with ordering directly from the company to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Sooo.... has anyone ever bought a knock off purse? 🤚🏼 This is pretty much what you’re getting. If you buy your makeup from an Ulta, Sephora, Bare minerals store etc... you know the color you buy matches your skin tone. You also know what the prices are for your product in the stores as well. When I saw that they had my skin tone Bare minerals for so cheap on Amazon I bought 2! It came in today. Same color. Same label. Same brand. My face looked like I was white as a ghost. The container and skin tone may look the same on the product but my skin tone looked 3 times lighter when I put this product on. Buyer beware. I order Fair. This was a lot lighter than the makeup I buy in stores.

Do not buy this product from Amazon. The price is better, but you will not be getting REAL Bare Minerals foundation. I have tried to order it twice from Amazon, and both times the make-up I received was a knock off. Total garbage. The consistency is different and the color made me look like I had jaundice. Bare Minerals foundation is the best, but only when it's the real stuff. Get it from Sephora or another retailer.

AWFUL!!! it is the same brand on the label Bare Minerals, and same shade I always get, but it was so tannish and yellow on my skin! I looked like an oompa loompa. It isn't bare escentuals or whatever other people are saying....but still. I am mad because I ended up getting this one accidentally and so haven't needed to use it for a few months. I thought that it would be the same color as my other one, and was just going to wait till I ran out... now the return window is closed. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
