Perfect for Cracked Fingers
I have exceptionally dry skin and every winter my fingers split and crack. It’s very painful but tapping them with this waterproof tape helps hold the solid skin together. It’s a lifesaver. It wraps around my fingers and lasts all day. My mother now uses it too for the same problem.

highly flexible and adhesive!
as far as flexibility, adhesion, and waterproofness, this tape is incredible... if it was "breathable", it would be outstanding!| specifically, regarding "adhesion" |• it sticks very well, even if the skin is not freshly washed.• it sticks outstanding, with washed skin, to skin cleaned with alcohol and let dry, and to skin cleaned with alcohol, rinsed with h2o, and dried.• it maintains great adherence to skin, when there is major skin movement, such as joint areas, hands, fingers, loose skin areas, etc., due to being very rubbery/flexible• it adheres "very well" to itself| aside from "adhesion" |• as claimed, it is highly water-resistant and waterproof! (for example, it maintained adherence to skin and itself after 30+ minutes of swimming)• it tears VERY easily, multi-directionally, no scissors are required, but the tears or rips are not clean…though this has no effect on performance, if you want a straight cut, then use scissors• it has incredible stretch (much like Kinesiology Tape aka KT), which is why it adheres greatly at joints or areas of major skin movement.• it has good, but not great tensile strength, as it will rip if stretched too hard/too long a distance (unlike KT)• it is very soft & gentle, very comfortable, and very flexible, as it is quite rubbery and foamy• it does NOT breathe whatsoever, due to the rubbery/foam design, so the skin underneath feels uncomfortably hot and sweaty| bottom line |• due to the lack of any breathability (and, though despite no claim to be breathable), it is very uncomfortable (hot and sweaty) , but is outstanding in every other way, thus 4 stars.pleased, Thank you. :-)

A must for you first aide kit!
This is a great material. Not only waterproof, but also stretchable, and you can cut it to fit difficult areas like fingers and toes. The stretching allows for comfort and waterproofing allows it to last as well as protects the minor cuts till it heals.

This stuff is a miracle!
This stuff is ideal for protecting fingers from cracking or blisters. It sticks just right and can even be reused. I wrap my thumb for tennis, I would get a crack on the inside of the thumb where the racquet grip rubbed against it. No problem donde using it.It tears easily, goes on easily, sticks well but doesn't pull off skin and is waterproof.

A Grear Product
My wife and I have used the Nexcare Absolute Waterproof tape for years. Usually it is used to secure an underlying medical bandage of some type (e.g., a corn removing plaster). It works very well in this role.

Helping chronic wounds heal
This Nexcare Absolute Waterproof First Aid Tape keeps dressings in place very well. I have sensitive skin and there is no reaction to this tape. However, my skin is also very thin and fragile. The adhesive that holds so well is strong enough to tear my skin at the point where I begin removal. The skin tearing stops once the edge of the tape releases.Overall, I recommend this tape with the following advice: it shouldn't be used on anyone whose skin delicate, i.e., the elderly, newborns and olders babies, and anyone else with delicate skin.
