Clarion Bee-Bim Bop!

Fun to read! We love Korean food and our little guy loves to identify what's on the table in the book. My only complaint is that I have to skip the page about saying grace, which feels out of place in this fun book.

英語教室の読み聞かせ教材として購入しました。あたたかな雰囲気のイラスト、軽快な韻がちりばめられた楽しくシンプルな文章、小学生の子供たちの大好きな一冊です。Bee-bim Bopってなんのことかな・・・？と子供たちに問いかけてから読み始めます。同じアジア圏の家庭料理なので、出てくる食材や調理道具が見たことがあるものばかりだし、はじけるような軽快なリズムが続くので、思わず子供たちもBee-bim Bop!と口ずさみながら楽しくページを読み進めていけます。最後にクイズの答えあわせをしたら、誰もがお腹がすいて晩御飯が待ちきれなくなってしまうお話です。

Went looking for a childrens book that featured Korean characters and people. My niece and her parents loved this book as a gift! It’s great to see more stories and art with Korean culture and characters. Thank you!

Good quality book! No tears yet even with a child's grabbing hands bending everything and pulling on pages. Probably better for kids age 2-5 than for anyone younger or older, but great way to introduce interest in Korean food and culture!
